What am I missing here?
I’d say two possibilities: several idiots are in a bidding war or it’s a shill game. Maybe both.

Sticker design is definitely a feature that merits attention.   I wish I had a dollar for everyone that said to me, "Oh yeh....wacky packages!   Now I remember!   That incredible sticker design!"

Uggh. Some of these descriptions are as well-crafted as a 6th grader's creating a "word salad" to meet the 500 word quota for an essay! Part of me wants to give them a pass on their lack of knowledge about Wacky Packages, but I instantly retract that pass when they can easily retrieve all of the correct info with a few keystrokes and searches.

How would shill bidding work when there’s 35 bids? Two shill accounts bidding each other up?

An A.I. written description?
First thing I thought of when reading it...gotta be. Too machine-like.

AI is sending phishing emails now too, but so far they're easy to identify because of the wording.  Our CFO got one the other day that appeared to be an email chain.  The 1st in the chain appeared to be sent from one of our admin assistants desiring to donate $25K to a charity.  The 2nd was the reply thanking her.  The 3rd was the reply giving the CFO's contact info for sending an invoice.  The last was the mail to the CFO.

What tipped it off for me was the wording used:
Connecting with you has been a pleasure, and we've been deeply inspired by the impactful work your foundation carries out
We are committed to supporting your noble cause
every contribution matters, we wish to play a part in making a positive impact
We eagerly await your prompt response
Your unwavering interest and dedication
our heartfelt thanks go out to you and your organization for your unwavering commitment
Your partnership holds a special place in our regard, and we eagerly anticipate ongoing engagement
for swift processing
of payment

artificial intelligence was my first thought as well.   but i just to had to razz it.   emphasis on artificial.    :]

sad state of affairs when someone can't take 5 to 10 minutes to write their own paragraph on something they are trying to sell.

you can see the bid history, the shill with the 177 feedback bid over 20 times continuously running up the bid but he screwed up as he ended up winning.  Why bid the day before the auction end as opposed to sniping it, because the intent was to run up the bids acting as a reserve bid.

Listen, I'm short a couple of bucks and I really need this for my "forever" collection. Surely, I will pay you back next Tuesday.

Plus they want $4.99 to ship it!  In the condition it's in, why not just stick an address label and a stamp on the back of it and be done with it?

     EXCELLENT CONDITION:          https://www.ebay.com/itm/166707186187

According to eBay's definition of Excellent, and the seller's definition of moderate and fuzzy, I guess it fits.

Excellent
Has clearly visible signs of wear
Flaws may include:
Moderate surface scuffing
Fuzzy corners
Moderate edge chipping

Ive heard of “soft” or “rounded” corners, as opposed to sharp corners…but ive never heard of “fuzzy” corners….It is an inappropriate adjective…..maybe they mean “pulpy” corners….
