Classic - This seller really seems clueless since they wrote a paragraph describing this amazing find.
"BUT THERE SEEMS TO BE A LITTTTTTLE PEELING AT THE TOP, A SMALL "POP OUT" LINE ON THE BOTTOM (CARD STILL FULLY INTACT WITH THE PAPER). AND A COUPLE SMALLER CREASES ON BOTTOM, AS MENTIONED BEFORE NOT FULLY CREASED JUST LIKE IT WAS PUSHED ON THE CORNER OF A TABLE FOR A SECOND AND LEFT AN INDENT."

LOL. There's just a litttttttle damage here at the top and a couple of creases just like it was rolled into a little frickin' ball and then attempted to be straightened out again!!!

Then he says, "JUST TRYING TO MENTION EVERY POSSIBLE LITTLE THING THAT MAY BE A PROBLEM TO SOMEBODY. BUT THANKS FOR STOPPING BY"

My problem is the $25 starting price and the fact that this guy didn't do the least bit of research into what he had (or should I say doesn't have)

What am I missing on this one? Not only are the corners touched and the centering marginal, but the card actually SOLD @ $75??

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-1973-74-Series-5-Wacky-Packages-Head-Boulders-NMint-Condition-/221177601312?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item337f365d20&nma=true&si=RPrLeRAwTeW%2FW8KBed1mJnfbnVc%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
certainly fishy. it didn't sell last month, like most of their other cards, when it was listed at $1.99

I'm not sure if I'm missing something with these auctions, or not...

200884234080

These Old School 4 stickers are being listed as 1/1 blank backs. Here's the part that's confusing, with the exception of the Ludlow backs, aren't the Old School 4 stickers already blank backs? If I'm understanding the description correctly, the only difference between these stickers and the ones I bought from Topps online, is a hologram sticker on the back (?)

I can understand the attraction to the ANS blank backs that they sold on eBay because the ANS series all have puzzles, coupons, etc. printed on the back.

Unless I'm experiencing a huge brain fart (which happens with me a lot!), I do not see the difference.

Okay, I think I figured it out... each sticker has the hologram sticker on the back PLUS marked as 1/1.

Like you said with the ANS cards the blank backs would be truly unique, but with Old School the only different from the ones Topps is selling looks like the hologram sticker on the back, which they could be sticking on the backs of the regular base cards.  It would be cooler if they had the hologram info printed on the backs so it was permanent and unique.

Those are horrible. Who would buy them? It will probably be one of those crazy collectors that will hand it over to Probstien and try to sell for $500 and sit on EBay forever.

I wouldn't buy them but I didn't even consider the truly 1/1 ANS cards with blank backs.  I don't really collect "one offs"' but I guess every sketch card is a one off so that's a contradiction.  If they are taking base Olds titles and slapping a sticker on them that's even less deasirable to me though.  At least the blank backs are at least unique.

Not a huge outrage, but you gotta chuckle when it costs $4.99 to ship a sticker sold for a penny

It was probably the cheap shipping that sold it.

At $25, shouldn't that be Overnight instead of "2-6 business days"?

At $25 that sticker better magically appear in front of me at the time of payment.  I wonder what else that moron wants to buy?  I have tons of average grade overpriced items I am looking to dump for at least 10x its actual worth.  Maybe he would be interested.

I always debate contacting sellers when their stuff is just crazy weird priced or inaccurately described. There was a set on there with the borders obviously removed listed as MINT and I wanted to scream. Even after contacting the seller, his response was very evasive as to whether he thought the borders were removed and never actually said that. The skeptic in my screams fraud, but I know I have seen Wackies on eBay that were so badly described they were not in any of my standard searches, so some have no idea what they have. I think people with one card just search for wacky and sort by price and see a rare one for $100 and go there immediately. What blows me away is the ones that relist over and over the same mediocre common set of a few cards in rough shape at an outrageous BIN.

It must be due to the fact that the top of Band-ache is on the sticker... ;o)

Borderless stickers and some trimmed to the die cut, plus a bunch of marked checklists. Worth a fortune, right?

"Cards show some wear and discoloration", classic.

Sadly, when I was a kid and with one of my first Wacky collections, I removed the borders (to make them look better) and put them in a photo album. Stupid kids.

I just noticed that Clint is selling the postcard series 6 bonus card H8 for $124.97 BIN. I purchased one on ebay last year for $3 WTF! He also has "Clucky" & "Hoppy Meal" for the same price, those two never sell cheap but damn! Are these prices reasonable?

No. Especially since the entire postcard series 6 set with bonus card H8 can be purchased from Topps for $6.95.

Wow that's ridiculous. I didn't realize that Topps still had the older series in stock; I assumed that they would be sold out after almost 3 years.
