Packaging of Postcard Sets
« on: October 23, 2010, 09:30:47 AM »
Could someone summarize how the different postcard sets were packaged? Specifically, the Limited Edition Series 6 and the current Halloween postcards came in a wax-pack look-a-like wrapper. Are these the only two sets to be packaged this way, or are there any others?

Thanks!
Dave

They are the only two to be packaged with a wrapper. The others were in envelopes.

Yes, those two are the only new series with wax wrappers (for now). There is a wax wrapper for the Old School series but that comes with the binder, unfolded. Unfortunately, they have to be packed by hand because there is no wax wrapping machines anymore (at least any known) and it's impossible to hand wrap all the Old School packs but the postcards have a smaller run so it works to wrap them.

They do a fantastic job of wrapping them! What a painstaking job.

Maybe they sub-contract this task to a team of origami specialists?
