Old schooler new to weekly series and minis
« on: July 13, 2021, 09:15:19 AM »
I have a decent collection of Original Series 2-15 (1 and 16 are beyond my reach), and collected a few of the ANS series in the early 2000s. Can someone please briefly explain the problems with the "waves" of minis, which seem to make it hard to complete a set. Also, other than e-bay, is there someplace where I can get the weekly series that apparently were sold online only by Topps last year? Topps website currently lists NO info on wackies. I am off Facebook for now, I work in a job where I need my privacy, and don't care to listen to all of the ads and rants on FB. Is there someplace other than this Forum to keep up on what few Wackies are being released?

Welcome to the forum!

If you look in the Master List section you will find detailed info about the Series 1 and 2 Mini waves (plus Master Lists of a lot of recent and ongoing sticker sets!):
http://www.wackypackagesforum.com/index.php?board=31.0

The Topps site generally lists production numbers for recently produced sets, including Wackys.  But, this thread will let you know what is going on this year:
http://www.wackypackagesforum.com/index.php?topic=6067.msg115593#new  The July set will be coming up for sale tomorrow, 7/14; if you check here, as soon as the Topps site is live, there will be a link posted in that thread.

In the Trading Post you can find Wackys for sale, and for trade:

Hope this helps!
