Ordered a set.  Glad it's now once a month, but might be harder to remember lol.  Is there a twitter feed to notify when a new set is out?

I like that they are stickers now.  Gonna miss the guest artists...not really interested in the playing cards, but it seems fun to chase for those that are into them.
Don’t know about Twitter, but there’s Facebook, and here too.

They’ve always been stickers and not cards. I read on FB the other day of someone not liking OLDS 9 because they are cards, which is odd as they are definitely stickers as well. Peel and Paste anyplace.

My impression is that the ‘Guest Artists’ are included as part of the regular set, such as Robert Jimenez did this month’s Hamburger Belcher, and are now one of the gang.

Well, I don't do facebook, so here is the best option I guess.  Lol, I thought the weekly series was cards for some reason.  Just checked with one of my duplicates and saw it was a sticker.   ;D

Hamburger Belcher looks great!  I do like the elimination of the separate Guest Artist cards and hope that Topps will simply be having all the artists contribute regularly.

I love the elimination of the Ludlows  :00123101:  They contributed nothing of value art-wise, and towards the end of 2020 it seemed that out of 10 sets I'd be getting 7 ludlows to just 3 coupons.  With this format, we know exactly what we'll be getting, and only have to worry about collation.  Still wondering what will be on the backs of the 20 base set stickers.

I do hope these don't come in the black On Demand cardboard boxes.  First off, they're hard to open (how did anyone open the sketch boxes from Attacks Packages without tearing them???), and they are wasteful.

I found if you slide a butter knife under the short end all the way in and lift, you can open without ripping. But sept for the sketch boxes, who on earth would want to save that shitty open generic box???

I don't save them, I just have a hard time getting the darn things open!  They can cause awful "paper" cuts!!  Will try the butter knife suggestion, thanks.

Me, too!  That's why I don't want to stop collecting them.  I like that they aren't on any Monthly checklists; I can just keep up my separate set of Wonkys, going back to the comics from 2013:

I am complete on the Wonky's and would like to stay that way. The hardest part is done if you are complete at present. I will probably buy the wonky's on the bay.

I bought one set and will probably not bother getting the three wonkys, two playing cards, and 16 coupons that don't come in that one pack.  It's getting too rich for my wallet.

In 1973, at 5 cents a pack for two stickers and a checklist, I probably could've gotten a complete set for $3.  At the inflation rate of 505.14%, that's only about $18.15 in today's dollars.  Can we go back to 1973?

The Guest Artist feature may be gone, but just for fun, let's try playing...

"GUESS ARTIST"!

Here's 2 great titles from the new set! Can you guess which artists painted these?

I'll post the writer's credits once we have the correct answers!

They are kinds hard to see, I'd say Pat on the first one. Not sure of the person's name but I think the second one is the same artist on Therafool, Jeff Dionise?

What's fun out this online set is i get to use lots of old roughs I loved that were not used (updated of course) but also take my worst roughs, including what I thought was my worst ever and rework it into a WP I now love: Just For Hens

Agreed! That's one handsome hen!

By the way, Robert (Zerostreet) guessed correctly about the two "Guess Artists": First one is Pat Chaimuang (concept by Mike DePaz) and the Second One is by Jeff Dionese (concept by Jeff).

Dave, what ANS was Just for Hens meant for again? I saw it once on lostwackys.com, but that's gone now. I'd like to tell Patrick so he can record it on the Spreadsheet.

I believe his first Wacky may have been the Skittles gag in the recent Halloween Postcard set.

He also did the October week 1 Guest Artist “Kind of Difficult to Chew” bar

The problem based on the past is there is no guarantee if you buy 4 sets that you will get all 4 Wonkys. I’m not paying $240 to get duplicates. And there’s no guarantee if you buy 5 sets you’ll get all 20 coupon backs.

I agree.  I was spending $120/month (2 sets each week) and that usually got me both a Wonky and a Guest Artist card.  I am not going to spend $240/month for the chance that I'll get all of the Wonkies.  That's too much of a squeeze.  So I'll buy one $60 set/month - which means Topps has lost $60/month from me.  I'm giving up on the Wonkies, like I'm giving up on the minis.  They've made it too expensive.

Rusty's Lost Wackys site is back?!

Someone here, I think bigtomi or Fanatical, recently mentioned only the home page is gone. You can still access the information. I got to that web page via Google by searching for "Just for Hens Wacky Packages"

Here's a little something to help you stay organized with your 2021 wackys! Keep in mind, this is not an official Topps binder release, just something I put together for fun that you can print on your home computer. The inserts are designed for a standard binder and the spine is ideally suited for a 3/4" to 1" width.

Enjoy! Neil

Good job, Mr. Camera. I know David Gross did the GEek bulbs, but who painted Escher-Sketch and Freeze whiz?
