What do these even go for? I have yet to complete my normal patches set, let alone these test ones.

Or, that Vile one. Seeing as the Mountain Goo patches have shown up, it makes me think that the Vile mystery patch came from the same scenario.

Agree, if people can make their own, Vile and Mountain goo ruin the patch collecting market.

Why "ruin"?  Just one more thing for someone who enjoys Wackys or patches or both to add to their collection whether licensed by Topps or not...

Hopefully Topps catches on and starts producing a variety of these.  Hey, how about as "Topps Now" products so we can use those damn Topps points!?!!

So let's all just start producing our own products that are not distinguishable from Topps products, great idea!    I didn't realize we were allowed to reproduce these copyrighted images on our own.  As I stated long ago, as far as I can tell, Topps has abandoned their right to their images with their non enforcement of reproductions, let's do it!

I agree with you for the most part here, because I would much rather get a Topps Patch (or any OS title) than a knockoff. I don't think these are indistinguishable, because they have much higher quality than the original patches and that list has been defined. If people are armed with the info, they will know this isn't a Topps product. If they don't know, then whose fault is that?

I don't think it's fair to put the fault on the buyer.  Dwayne was producing near-perfect replication of original display boxes and there was a dealer selling them at a show as a originals.  So if someone starts producing purposely lower quality stitching of original patch titles, now what?

There isn't a lot you can do against that. You just have to buy reluctantly. I am sure there are still distinctive, but minute differences. I am not justifying any of it. If Slopps can't get their shite together, then what's the point? We know it exists, so we just have to purchase with careful regard.

I still remember that one Halloween Pack 'O Fun got cancelled, and it still appalls me that stuff like this can happen but that got cancelled.

that is the best point, if Slopps can't get their sh$% together, the door is open for all this other stuff!
