I don’t know if the knight’s move works for this series. Makes it difficult.

The seller seems to have more....

Also, GAI 8 Die Cut packs have been selling for $1500-2000 for years, this one (which appears nice) selling for under $1000 is another red flag for wacky values going forward. Though part of it is likely a trend toward trusting only PSA, even though these original generation GAI packs are perfectly legit.

Wow, I remember paying $60 or so for my first die-cut pack (which sounded crazy back then).  I'm starting to think that getting rid of most of my Wackys was worse than not buying bitcoin in 2010.  I wonder what that nice #21 Jolly Mean or complete set of wooden Placks would go for now...

...I no longer use Evilbay...  Jeff

Yes!  It caught on enough in the late 90s that people are still using that term!  Now if only MicroSloth, 4Bucks, and FaceTook could finally catch!
Which Jeff is this?  I remember that was one of the most common Wacky Pack collector names & we almost had to number the Jeffs, Johns, and Pauls.

eBay has a new market in the world - used electronics equipment that is no longer manufactured.  My company recently purchased a handful of remote-controlled Juniper Networking switches off eBay.  It saved us having to completely upgrade and then spend hours re-configuring and reprogramming the entire network just to replace a few switches that were going bad -- and we got them for a great price too!  So for us it was definitely not Evilbay.

Although I had purchased these back in 1968 I think, I never recall having Ratz or Cracked Animals.  I wonder how early in the printing they were pulled and how many intact and pooped ones there are out there.

Greg's Availability Rankings from 1999 indicate an "estimated 40+" for Ratz/Cracked. I doubt if the number has significantly changed. The punched ones are likely harder to track.

I have a PSA 5 Cracked (that turned up long after 1999), and my punched set includes both Ratz and Cracked.

I have 2 complete sets, albeit I have punched Ratz and Cracked added to the standard #32 and #38.  Unpunched Ratz and Cracked are just to tough to get.  Put a white background against then in the holder and called it a day.  Have a couple of number variations #6 and #15 though.  Again tough to get.   Thinking the variations were printed the same time that Ratz and Cracked were in the production mix, so early on then pulled.
As a 1 year old kid in 1968, I punched them out.  So did all my friends.  So I can see how so few survived.
Also, I remember when the ads came out around 1971 that I was sorry disappointed with that format.  So I've never relly collected them.

It’s actually the exact opposite. The number variations replaced titles that were pulled at different times during the run, but most of the titles were pulled more than halfway through the run, so that the number variations that replaced them are less common than the pulled title.

Mine too. Originally I just wanted one of each title. The Flashback Ratz would have done just as well, but the punched originals are cool to have.

I have the punched ones in pages with white cardboard behind them.  If I ever manage to get a decent unpunched Ratz, I might consider selling off the punched set, but it is kind of nice being able to flip through them.

I have punched diecut set with punched ratz and cracked and a pile of in tact diecuts with number variations and such I need to go thru.  I do have a beautiful PSA 6 Cracked that I plan to sell and was going to come to market with it but I have someone trying to convince me to sell privately.
