Glad to hear it...would it be cool if you give us a taste of your first published wacky, no pun intended?

September week 1:  714 in sales. Back over 700 again, which is great to see.

I'm glad to see that.  I wonder if Topps might consider adding a 15 set discount, say at $200?  That would give people a better chance at getting all 10 back variations, and leave some left over for trading/selling.

I'm anxious to see it as well, but it's far from Paul's first Wacky!

I'd much rather see an option to just buy the back variations you want and spend less money.  How about it Topps, can we try that for a month to see if you'd make more money that way and stop printing all those base sets for our grandkids' bicycle spokes?

That'd be awesome!  But, I don't get the impression that they're willing to offer a la carte.

I agree, while it would be ideal to get packs "a la carte," and it would be a lot easier on our wallets (and pocketbooks),
and save us a lot of sanity, it's just not the way the hobby is, the whole premise is to "collect".

Like the mini Wackys lately, it's fun to open up a cup/pack and see what you get, no guarantee you're
going to get the whole set in a few cups, and chasing for a rare title, as long as it isn't near impossible
like getting a Wonka Golden Ticket, adds to the thrill.

At least to me...

I thoroughly enjoy the collecting part when I can get a handful of stickers or minis for a few bucks.  However, spending $135 to get nine extra base sets that I don't need and can't trade because everyone else has them too, then still not getting a full set of ludlows and coupons, and not getting them delivered until 4-5 weeks later so I can't buy more.  That's just not collecting to me.

I bought three boxes of the Brand Busters so that I could open packs, put together a set, and keep some unopened for posterity.  I spent the same amount on that one order as I have on the 19 Topps Weekly sets combined.  I would spend a lot more on Topps' products if they had a better shopping option.

Brand Busters is Jon Gregory's new series, with boxes, wrappers and checklist puzzle cards.  Check in the Parody Card Discussion (non-Wacky Packaghes) section, or use this:

Yesterday was a tough day at work - one crisis after another.  I meant to say Brand Busters or did I just make my own Wacky Parody?

Love the huge chip!  I hope they correct the checklist to remove the "s" on chips.  Froot Gloops is also really wrong on the checklist.

That's one thing I like about the online sales - we can proofread the stickers!

OK, I'm confused about the Wacky Initials.  I guess I've been too busy to pay close attention.  I've got the "Wacky" backs from July week 5, but was assuming August week 1 would continue with the next five initials.  Instead, it's the first half of the Cap'n Punch puzzle.  So my "Wacky" backs sit in a page with four blanks after them.  Am I missing something?  How are others putting them in pages?

Yeah, they took a while, but it was worth the wait.  I got two notices last night, and one box arrived today.  Perfect collation, 10 packs yielded one of each coupon and ludlow, along with 5 GAs and 5 Initials.  Also, each pack includes an 8th card, which is a checklist for July Week 5.  Much better packaging this time - they're wrapping as many as 4 packs per bubble envelope!  So, for the 10 packs I only have 3 bubble envelopes.  Way to go, Topps!!

I ordered a second lot of 10 this time because of the confusion regarding the July checklist; tracking says that box should be here tomorrow.
