I think the quality of the gags and art increases in series 2. We learned that Norm did NOT "paint all the diecuts" and in fact, once Topps realized they had something hot in wackys and saw how good Norms characters and touch ups were in the diecuts, they increased the usage of Norm. I am not sure if the gag writers changed too but there seem to be fewer weird abstract references to things kids couldn't possible relate in this series.
I love the titles discussed so far from series 2, not so much the wacky ad versions but the series 2 versions. Like Pat, I refer to almost all of the products by their wacky names.
Blunder is the first one I am not a fan of from the list so far, I think of blunder as making a mistake and could never reconcile "blunder" and it being heavy. This should have been wanderbread with the slices of bread wandering around like we had all proposed long ago and like the gag was presented in recent wackys.
