Do you remember details on where she bought these?  Is there a Topps copyright anywhere on the fabric?

So why is Bum Bums spelled Pun Puns?  Is there a story behind that?

So why is Bum Bums spelled Pun Puns?  Is there a story behind that?

In looking at the list of fabric variations or patterns on lostwackys.com, it is my opinion that 2 of the variations are bootleg/not topps authorized.

The fabric containing 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th  series titles is only on the eyeglass case & the slippers.

I have never seen this fabric surface on ebay or anywhere else in the past 10 years. That doesn't mean it's not authentic, but between the low quality, scarcity & the info contained in this article:
http://www.nsu-magazine.com/wacky-packages-eyeglass-cases/

My bet is the fabric isn't available in bolts/pieces & it's not an official licensed topps product.

I have the same feeling about the fabric with the 6th & 8th series titles including Pun puns:

The artwork is a bit sloppy, and topps would never allow their product to be misrepresented to that degree IMO.

Does anyone have any experience with or knowledge of these 2 wacky packages fabric patterns?

Damn that seller for alerting all the forum members about these sales! I really wanted that Ajerx/Commie fabric. So far I've had 5 short sleeve and 2 long sleeve shirts tailor made for me from different vintage WP fabric. My wife is Thai and when we visit her country I can have it done for a fraction of the cost it would be to do it in the US.

Anyway...is the winning bidder a member of this forum? If so, perhaps they would like to cut that 144x44 piece of fabric in half and trade me for a 72x44 piece of unused Neveready fabric? I need a Ajerx/Commie shirt!!!

I would also be interested in purchasing/trading for a small piece of the fabric, if the new owner is here someplace.

Gosh darn it, you keep out of this! Can't you see how cool that fabric will look when made into one of these?!?

Yes...only money.  So you and bigtomi were also bidders, huh? I think RawGoo might have bid as well. Including me that's a total of 4 from the forum. That means the winner was the only other bidder on the red piece (total of 5), and there was one other on the Ajerx piece (total of 6). Usually I go unchallenged on the fabric auctions because I don't think there are many others here that are actively looking for them. Again, damn that very smart seller for making all of you aware.  Even so, I never in a million years would have thought my $114.01 bid at 8 seconds before the end of the auction wouldn't have been enough.

My bid didn't go through - I was apparently out-sniped.

I only bid on the Ajerx/Commie piece.

There were only 4 bidders on the red piece and 5 on Ajerx/Commie.
