Thanks! My photos don't really do them justice. The comic one is super crisp in person and the Plots one has this extra charcoal-like coloring that actually makes him look like he's digging -- it's subtle and very cool. I also like the two Barrett ones (that Plots and the Hairy) because the characterizations have this incredibly "light and fun" quality to them. The comic is similar. The Hunch has that semi-color gray/blue coloration thing and almost has a 3D quality, and the Engstrom Hairy looks like he's coming up to the lens like a friendly dog. Heck, I even like this Walton.

My only gripe this time around was with the bio cards. Ending up with 4 of one kind and 2 of another is nuts. Six packs and I didn't complete a single bio set! Argh.

My solution: Topps should have the LE sets (or any sets that contain these kinds of cards) marked outside with A, B, C, etc., so that without opening the rest of the package they would know which group it belongs to. This way if you bought three LE sets they could include an A, B, and C pack so you are guaranteed to get a complete bio set. This would be REALLY NICE!!

Porkie, you weren't the only one this happened to. I was "lucky" enough to end up with all 3 bio card sets the same.

Fortunately I was able to make trades and complete my set. I wholeheartedly agree with you in that Topp's should be able to do a better job policing this. My suspicions, however, are that they probably don't give a s**t.

I'd love to trade! I'm concerned I missed the boat with the trades though, due to delays getting my other three sets (and the fact that my first three contained ALL the same bios!)

What annoys me a little is the fact that many people are posting the sketches with the bio cards sealed inside, not knowing what they are. Probably because the second shrinkwrap was more trouble to unwrap. :/

You should be able to ID the bio set through the shrinkwrap by moving the cards around with your fingertip.

I know I was sort of knocking the sketch cards in another post, but I just had a cool idea... what if we could get Topps to release BLANK sketch cards, and we could collect sketch cards from prominant COLLECTORS, too. Now THAT might make it more interesting. (Of course, Paul A's would have a psychodelic-pattered background, but that's OK).

(...just trying to see if old Paul's still on here so I can say hi & I figure that one would get him riled up.)

I have a plots undertaker, sealed with all bio cards, for sale for $52.00 plus postage, or for trade for a Mirky Way or M&M hand sketch.

Also need the Engstrom / Zilnick set of bio cards from the 2011 Halloween postcard release - can trade for any set of 3 bio cards from the 2012 Halloween postcard set.
