Kiss Kat sketch card value? (now with #1s!!!)

Just curious. I recently got a friend back into collecting Wacky Packages and he got a Kiss Kat sketch card! My friend runs a local comic book store and he couldn't believe it.

So I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it might be going for (not that he intends to sell it).

Thats a tuff one. I guess a picture could tell the tale of the dollars. Is it ANS 7 or 8? I would guess 7. A really detailed sketch could fetch $150, otherwise generic sketches are running $50 to $100. Prices have really come down.

I'll ask him if I can snap a pic with my camera phone at some point. It's from series 8 if that helps. It looks to be very basic.

Just curious, what type of pack did he pull it from? Did he purchase individual boxes / a case / blisters / gravity feed packs / etc?

Individual pack from a local comic book store. My buddy owns the store (Atlas Comics in Charlottesville, VA). Beau (store owner) could not BELIEVE that my buddy got a sketch card. He flipped. lol

Welcome CRB, You say it's basic, so it's probably not a color sketch? A picture would definately make an estimate easier.

Toploader at least, screwdown at best. Its a $100 card.

You can probably have him get a thick card case for it. Ultra Pro probably make a nice screw down one. You can find them definately at a hobby card shop, but sometimes even in Target, K Mart or other stores that carry collectible cards - sometimes.
