I think you can also hear the Halloween sounds if you hole-punch a sketch card in the middle and play it on a phonograph.

I think the Halloween sounds you hear are the screams of the owner of the sketch card.

Here is a new thing.  The Giant sized color sketch card.  A whole new concept in sketch cards.  http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260904072173&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:US:1123

I read on the Internets that you can color the edges of each card with blue magic marker to increase the audio quality.

Now that is funny. I almost spit coffee all over the monitor.

Well, I for one, refuse to bid any higher given the obvious flaw of no Bog Red creature.  ;)

I say, bring on the Wacky Wallpaper !! Even more cool, the kind that you have to stare into to find the 3D image. You can make Capn' Crud for the kitchen area, etc.... When a guest walks in to your house, they'll see you staring at the walls and think you're stoned.

Since everyone is now (Dec. 31st) salivating in anticipation of their OS3 sketches that have been pre-ordered, I thought it a good time to post the latest BOG RED ARMY roster...

That's pretty cool.  I'm not a sketch card collector, but when I've seen the gatherings of sketches posted here, I'm often impressed.  It's great how the artists have come up with fun themes and approaches to keep the sketches interesting.

Were these the ones sold still in the Topps box? I saw that auction and wondered if there was a Jay Lynch in the group. I guess not....oh well good pulls.

Yes, that was the auction that I won-they were all still on their sealed shipping box.
Didn't know that Lynch did all of the book illustrations until I got the hairy mane book just yesterday!

Wow, that was a steal.  $37 bucks for a Creature from the Black Lagoon color sketch?  Crazy.
Still looking for Series 17

I agree however no one out there wanted for more that the 37.00 bucks.  Was it mis-advertised or something?

Not mis-advertised at all. It's got to be almost a record for the lowest priced color sketch.

And, for my special Halloween Bots collection:

Special thanks to Neil for creating such cool Bots sketches, and to Brad for the 2012 Bots sketch!  If anyone has a 2010 Halloween Bots sketch, I'm interested.......

I agree!  Something about the Bots really gets me - I even have the card taped to my monitor (in a penny sleeve, of course!), and seeing it always makes me smile.

Amazing that you got so many great creatures sketches - I didn't get any and had to buy them off eBay and through trading.
