Thanks Pat, couldn't believe it -- even if the odds seem to be better this time. One sketch from each artist is going to be hard to pull off though, even with a head start on Gurgle. But where there are wackys, there is a way. And that goes for both of us!

The strange thing is Marc Simon pulled the same gurgle color sketch. He just emailed it to me.

Yup, it's "flipped" compared to the other sketches. Post Script. Just looked at Marc's scan and my sketch closely. Very similar, but slightly different.

I compared them, too. I'm surprised Jay didn't pick a different background color, like he did with similar sketches in Old School 1. But, that blue is really nice......

Here are my pulls. I am stoked to get a Wormy by Bill Griffith. That is what I was wishing for, even back in November during the pre-sale. I can't believe I actually got one.

Why were you stoked about the Griffith sketch? It looks similar to the Lynch sketch. I'm amazed that in 5 boxes you didn't get a Lynch sketch. I think you are the first to pull one of Matthews sketches. Congrats!

I already have bunches of Jay Lynch sketch cards (I know, you can never have enough). I was really wanting a Griffith sketch and Wormy is my all time fave Wacky. Having a Wormy by Griffith was a no-brainer for me.

Wow that's very cool. You're pretty lucky for sure, Griffith sketches appear to be quite rare. No Lynch's out of 5 is also an unlikely feat considering he may have done 60% of them.

I also think that Mark did a fantastic job on Wormy. If that is your fave then you did really well.

I couldn't believe how fortunate I was to pull two Wormy sketches. Mark's Wormy is so freakin' sweet! I love the "tied in a knot" pose that the worm is a doin'.

I got in another 12 boxes this morning and got really lucky with another color sketch. I did get 5 repeat Lynch titles but another 6 that I needed. The 5X7 and Concept card collation is horrible. Not one Lush concept card and I didn't get any 5X7 packs with Mr. Salty and Rot. I did get 8 of the Palmolotov packs. Really strange.
I also got a mystery Bhob sketch. I say mystery because it looks like a standard sketch but the back is upside down and purple like the color sketches. See below and let me know if you guys think this is a color sketch.

That Bhob Stewart is not color. I saw all the color cards. He did some B&W Cap'n Crud cards which had to be pulled since that was not one of the 20 characters so he may have accidentally used some of the extra color card stock for B&Ws.

Who is selling the Jay Lynch colored for over $1400 clams on ebay? Just curious how he/she decided on a starting price with both colored he/she is selling.

Obviously everyone would prefer a nice colored sketch over a b/w but many of the b/w sketches posted in this topic look very sharp. The colored sketches look fantastic though.

Wow the color sketches look fantastic. The clown with that orange background is amazing.
I've seen some really nice b/w ones posted also. Neil's Scary Lee that Brad pulled is my favorite so far. Can't wait to see the stickers Monday!
