Does anyone actually have these cards in their collection? I can't find anything about them anywhere. Were they designed but never distributed? I'd appreciate any light any of you could shed on this mystery! Thanks, - Pete

I have a set in my collection. I like them, but not everyone’s cup of tea, I would suspect.
-
Well, I'm glad to hear that their mythical status has been dispelled, but I was wondering if you distinguished gentlemen could share HOW you came into possession of your sets? I contacted PETA directly, and discovered they moved facilities which meant all their old stock was disposed of. None are available at the source.

I purchased my set on ebay several years ago.

I think I actually got a set directly from PETA. If I remember correctly, you had to contact them and convince them with some kind of story or reason why you wanted the set and they would then send you a set. But that was almost 20 years ago so I could be mis-remembering!
I sold my set a few years later for around $50 I believe.

I got mine from eBay a few years ago. I think I paid $15-20 apiece for them.
-
I also got mine directly from PETA. I doubt they still have them but you never know. They sent me more than one set so I can see if I have extras.
At the time people were paying for them on eBay not knowing you could go directly to PETA and get sets for free.

I asked about these cards way back in 2010. Jay Lynch even weighed in about them. It's here:

Thanks! THAT is useful info! Straight from the artist is even better. I really appreciate you digging up that old exchange. As far as I'm concerned "Jay Said It, And That Settles It!"
