OK, am I the only one here who thinks this is fuckin ridiculous?!?! Sorry 'bout the language, but just "ridiculous" isn't strong enough...
I'm getting a rash. There is no way to collect everything. You would also need about 3 binders to hold it all. I will not be going crazy over this. I'm hoping my 5 cases will be enough to help feed the guys going after gold and red Ludlow. ANS 10 was really crazy but all the big collectors were done in about 2 weeks. I only know of one person completing the red lud set.for me, 5 cases *is* going crazy. everyone has their own levels though. ;)
I'm really excited about the die-cuts. Depending on how tough they are I will try and get a set of those.
ANS 10 was an OK series and nothing really memorable other than Reepers, for me. From the few spoilers for ANS11 I'm now less excited.
for me, 5 cases *is* going crazy. everyone has their own levels though. ;)
odds stated earlier had die-cuts at 2 per Collector Box, giving you 60 in 5 cases. You should be able to make a set of 55 with some trading I hope.
...
Whose cheeks are you pointing at there?! :]
Whose cheeks are you pointing at there?! :]might be Topps...
might be Topps...or Bottoms!
it feels like Topps is really out there trying to milk me for all anything they can.
My hope for Halloween PC is that they reel it in with the cost and differences in sets.
or Bottoms!
Patrick, we may have to move this thread and start a new master list because this conversation may go on for awhile. We probably should move this to the ANS11 thread.I don't really see a need to move the thread and start over again. Post #1 at the top is fine and that's the one that I'll be updating with titles and info.
I personally believe fuckin ridiculous isn't strong enough. :o
Base Set (55) in A & B versions
What is an A and B version?
What is an A and B version?the sell sheet material says there are two different backs to each card, making an A and B version.
There are young uns that chime in here from time to time as well-LOL.There are? Like who?
I think ridiculous sums it all up, No coarse language is needed on here, There are young uns that chime in here from time to time as well-LOL.
Release is only 2 weeks away, so why not.
No Checklist of Titles yet, but we've now got a Promo. We can build it out as we go.

Not sure if they'll be a Gravity Feed Box? Heard anything?I'm sure there will be, I just didn't want to put stuff on here until we know for sure. Blowout and Potomac are only selling Collector and Hobby, which is why I added those. I'm sure there will be a Retail as well. Maybe the Rack Packs with Bonus again? and will we see a return of the bonus boxes? that'd be cool.

Looks like there are red borders of both the Rude Food and Coming Distractions sets that need to be added to the list.but not the black canvas?
but not the black canvas?
I get my boxes tomorrow, then I'll attack this again - get all the titles in and start adding as many artist sig's as I can find on ebay
Here ya go!

That's a great checklist. Just one glaring omission. My name should be on the artist list...Oh well, back to the drawing board!
You get no love from Topps.
Which ones did you do? I haven't seen an artist auto of yours yet
I'm getting black and white regular cards in my collector boxes (opened 4 so far) so perhaps you can add
those as coloring cards to the collector boxes as well as standard boxes....unless those aren't coloring cards....

they are supposed to be LINE sketches - they are another 'pull' for collectors...
Are you sure? These are numbered and look just like the regular cards except no color. They don't look likeYep, very sure. They are called pencil drawings on the wrapper.
sketches or roughs as they are complete. A

my local Target had a gravity feed, so I pick up a couple of packs.
nothing on them about the odds for these so-called Coloring Cards.
for now I am going to delete 'coloring cards'. i've added 'Sketch Set' to cover these pencil rough editions in the collector boxes.
I'll see if I can post pictures of the cards I have - they REALLY (using caps like H-08) don't look like pencils! xD

A
I did a quick scan of the pencil sketches.

The only time I've collected a set with 'coloring cards' those cards were outlines of Batman characters for kids to color in themselves. So, perhaps there is a disconnect here - are the cards in question something already done by an artist, or something for the consumer to color on?They are for you to color with crayon, pen pencil or paint!
What are coloring cards? Do you mean the pencil concept cards? The coloring cards are a 10 card sub set in the standard version of the wacky packs.
OK, am I the only one here who thinks this is fuckin ridiculous?!?! Sorry 'bout the language, but just "ridiculous" isn't strong enough...
Great job working on the master list Patrick - thanks!! By my count, when you add the Pupsi patch card, there are 1,204 cards to collect, plus the 6 billboards. And of course, printing plates......... This set is making my head spin.thanks!
Also - I haven't gotten the A/B thing quite straight yet, but I'm wondering if there may be another 55 cards for alternate backs for the concept card/pencil sketch cards. Unfortunately, not many ebay sellers bother to post pics of the card backs, but I've seen some with puzzle backs and some with ads. I can't tell yet if there two back versions for a specific title, but hopefully someone here who has killed a lot of collector boxes can answer this question.
thanks!
list updated with Pupsi and some more artist listings. I also moved the 'pencil sketch' version up into the Base card listing as a variation per your comment. I didn't realize they just had standard backs. ugh. even more to collect if one wants to.
I'll have to wait until I get more cards to work on the A/B thing. I have a feeling it is going to be arbitrary. Uncut sheets might help, but who knows if we'll ever see any. I'll make a choice, and if folks don't like it, they can let me know.
Patrick, I only purchase one collector case for ANS11 so have limited opening experience but as I opened the boxes, I noticed the base card backs from my first three boxes were all puzzle backs and made up all the puzzles of certain colors (2 sets of base case with the same back variations). I initially thought, here we go... you are going to need two cases with different back variations. As I opened the last three boxes, they yielded the alternative backs for the base set and happened to complete the remaining puzzles, the coupons, the billboards, and the "doctor warnings". I also ended up with 2 complete base sets of the alternate backs.Cool.
Cool.
I hope my case opens the same way. I should have been digging into my case this weekend too, but the UPS driver lied about attempting to drop off my package on Friday night and took it to the warehouse for the weekend instead.

There appears to be an order to the front/backs that suggests the following order...
ONE BACK VARIATION:
#s 1-9 red border puzzle pieces (Hill Billies)
#s 10-18 yellow border puzzle pieces (Prey-Doh)
#s 19-27 orange border puzzle pieces (Hordlerlands 2)
#s 28-36 brown border puzzle pieces (Loaf)
#s 37-45 pink border puzzle pieces (My Little Bony)
#s 46-54 light blue border puzzle pieces (Mobster High)
# 55 Checklist
OTHER BACK VARIATION
#s 1-9 dark blue border puzzle pieces (Walking Dad)
#s 10-18 green border puzzle pieces (Jurassic Pork IV)
#s 19-27 purple border puzzle pieces (Raisan Brawn)
#s 28-42 Coupons
#s 43-48 Warning Labels
#s 50-55 Billboards

I just got back from target to start the bonus card (1-6) hunt. As soon as I open them I will give the code and what bonus cards are in them. What I thought really sucked is the front of the packs are clear. A pack searcher doesn't even have to try hard to look at the cards. Also the part that doesn't have a window is so translucent that it is not really hard to check them also. I will be only buying enough to get a few sets of the Bonus cards. I wish that they would package them to discourage the pack searchers not enable everyone to be a pack searcher!

I am assuming that B2 is with these at target. I guess you don't have worry about looking at codes for the Target bonus cards like we did last time. I have not found a Walmart pack yet however I am concluding that it has B5 and B6
Scot, for some reason I don't get your new avatar. What am I missing? LOL
These Jumbo packs are absolute crap!
a Jumbo pack is now reduced to having the same chase contents and odds as a regular pack, but for twice the price!
topps is just flat-out gouging. it's sick.

Master List updated with Card Backs and the 3 known 'C' variations
I went with the already posted ordering by Scot, as I liked it. 'A' base is all puzzles and 'B' base has the other stuff.
Hmmm. The list looks fine on my desktop, but messed up on my pad. I'll have to work on the formatting
I'm still missing some artists, if anyone can help???
1 Prey-doh
3 DeepEnds
4 Preparation Ape
5 The Walking Dad
11 Ding Kongs
14 Polluted Springs
41 Wartheads
53 Little Seizures
Are we sure yet about the b1-6 having 3 strictly from Target and the other 3 strictly from Walmart? If so, that might be useful to add.oops! forgot to add that. yes, I think that's definitely the distribution.
Patrick, Unless, I missed it, I haven't seen a list of sketch card artists yet. Here are the ones I have seen so far (16)...
Brower, Jason
Camera, Neil
Comes, Ron
Engstrom, Brent
Gambino, Joe
Graham, Dustin
Gross, David
Grossberg, Joe (Joe G.)
Kirscht, Matthew
Parisi, Mark
Pingatore, Mark
Simko, Joe
Smokin' Joe
Taylor, Strephon
Wheaton, Fred
Zapata, Jeff
Apparently, Joes are abundant amongst parody artists. I don't recall Ron Comes, Joe Grossberg, and Dustin Graham doing sketches before. I am impressed with the titles I have seen by all three... very nice.

Patrick, Are you planning to add the list of known sketch artists to your master list? It seems to be the only thing missing. Also, what about listing the available sketch shapes? Thanks.
which sketches seemed to be the most sought after in terms of ebay sales and rarity or sketch excellence...
I know smokin' joe and brent seem high on the list...for ans11 at least
Has anyone heard whether there will be mini-cereal boxes released for ANS11? Just wondering if its time to put a fork in this release.
i thought someone mentioned it before - but i haven't heard or seen anything!!I mentioned it as I had seen it over on the Cardboard Connection site. they even have a checklist of titles. but there's been nothing with the topps online site

It occurs to me that the ANS sketches do not identify which series they come from. Perhaps the master lists could be updated to indicate the border colors?I can add that. although looking at my shaped sketch, I see there is no border color on those. may have to do both a front and back description or something.
I can add that. although looking at my shaped sketch, I see there is no border color on those. may have to do both a front and back description or something.
I really don't think you need to add sketch cards as they really don't represent the series. They are all one offs.
I really don't think you need to add sketch cards as they really don't represent the series. They are all one offs.totally. I wouldn't put anything about the sketches themselves, just the card stock that was used.
I think it would help people identify random sketches they pick up over time. Yellow border/back = ANS11, etc. I'm still confused by ANS10 - do the regular ones have green borders and backs but the shaped ones have blue backs??
You are correct on ANS10 sketches.
Makes me wonder whether Topps was planning on inserting shaped sketches in ANS9, and then used already printed up blue backed stock for ANS10.
Neil would know the answer to that question.
Nope, I'm just an artist ;)
You sneaky guy. I don't know if you can use that excuse in this instance because you would have received the blanks before ANS9 so you would know if Topps told you to halt the shaped sketches for ANS9.
BTW, did anyone notice that there were no dealer sheets to collect on this ANS 11 series? No ad/promo flyer sheet. Seems a bit rushed or don't care-ish to me.was there a sheet for 10?
was there a sheet for 10?
I've only seen those powerpoint sales pitches on blowout cards forum
That's right, none for 10 either.
I haven't bought a Wacky since ANS11. * ** ***I think I see some fine print with the statement... ;)

I guess they are dead, Jim.
Does anyone know where I can finds the odds for the ANS 11 and series 1 cards? I have been looking but can't find them.I have the same question. We saw these once upon a time but there doesn't seem to be an easy way to search for them. Please prove me wrong!
Just checkin'... these never did see the light of day, did they? I usually check the Topps Store about once a week or so. I know the mini-cereal boxes have followed in other releases, but never after this long a period from the series initial release. I guess they are dead, Jim.They did see the light of day. Greg had a set of all nine of them and sold them to me for my collection, but not before he took pictures of them to include in his website's page for this series. So far, nothing's been included yet.
Did anyone ever find out who did the art for Toeplait? I don't believe that Yoplait was using that packaging design in the early 90s, so I doubt Toeplait was from the lost 1992 set. The foot kind of looks like Brent Engstrom's drawing style...I think it was from the lost 1992 Series just like the other two were. Its full Wacky name was Toeplait Toe Jam Style and its real name was Yoplait Custard Style Yogurt.
They did see the light of day. Greg had a set of all nine of them and sold them to me for my collection, but not before he took pictures of them to include in his website's page for this series. So far, nothing's been included yet.
So what's the story with these cereal promos? Are there many sets of them out there? That, I'm not sure of. I only know that they do exist and that I've got all nine of them, thanks to Greg.
not sure, are these the one's your talking about?Yeah, these are the Wacky Cereals from ANS11!

So it's stuff like this that trips me up. Should it be listed in the ANS11 Master List? My instinct is yes.Totally.
