check out these sweet vintage stickers from the 80's on this lunchbox! no need for a bidding war on this, as there's 2nd lunchbox available as welleBay auction: #201878657783(Image removed from quote.)
80's - LOL!!!
Not a "nuts" auction, but someone is finally offering up the oh-so-elusive domino die-cut set:eBay auction: #162458471536He has a JM 21 like this, too...it almost makes me want to cry.
Is that what you call an unpunched, punched Die Cut set? Gotta wonder what the story is behind that desecration.
Scot, I bet someone in 1967 was testing out their new 3-hole punch. Although the original hole punch was patented in 1886, I believe a number of new models were released in the mid-sixties.
Danny's cards get two punches and mine get one
My bet is this was someone thinking it's the best way to place them in a binder. "Ah, ta hell with the plastic page thingy. Just a punch-punch here and a punch-punch there...and right into my 2-ring it goes".
ha ha, love this one, I totally see someone doing that, punched to put in a binder!
Good thing there wasn't a Ratz or Cracked Animals in the batch.....
Like I said, he has a JM 21 like this....such a shame.
Yep, it is a crying shame................
You made....me cry...when you punched....that die...and ain't that a shame! My tears fall like rain.
This individual spent nearly $1000 in grading fees to get 3 PSA 8s worth maybe $125...nearly every other card is worth no more than it would have been raw. They even graded a borderless Ultra Blight!eBay auction: #282453508356
Yikes!! What a waste of money, time, and plastic holders. Didn't realize PSA would grade a borderless sticker - surprised it even got a 1.
WOW! I've never seen a graded borderless before.... definitely a sign of the apocalypse! I guess, for the niche collectors, a complete set of slabbed borderless Wackys would be an accomplishment, as well as a conversation piece!
Easy to accomplish if you just peel off the borders of stickers you have
Here's one for giggles...http://www.ebay.com/itm/ULTRA-RARE-VINTAGE-WACKY-PACKAGES-COMPLETE-SET-5th-SERIES-/122260880703?hash=item1c7750fd3f:g:zAQAAOSwx2dYHU~bMaybe it's just me, but a "complete" set should include the whole puzzle... not just one puzzle/checklist card. On the bright side, the $1,510.00 price tag (includes the $15.00 S&H fee) makes it so that you're only spending a little over $47. per sticker (and card)... every toned, round-edged "NM" sticker!
Even comes with a borderless Cram! They removed the border to take the headache out of the extremely difficult task of trying to identifying the die-cut variation. Far more presentable this way too!

I pointed this auction out back in December. Shocked it still hasn't sold.
You might wanna jump on this one while the lower price is in effect! I'm guessing that the high price tag is justified by the fact that this particular sticker was found in one of the smoke stacks depicted in the illustration... complete with Virginia Slums soot!http://www.ebay.com/itm/old-1970s-Wacky-Packages-Sticker-Trading-Card-Virginia-Slums-Slims-Cigarettes-/152550496849?hash=item2384b7da51:g:rz0AAOSwcBhWbK~V
I was in the room with Art Spiegelman when he wrote the Virginia Slums gag. We were working all week to get that series written and roughed out, and Art was working on his book MAUS at the same time. That ebay Virginia Slums card in the ebay auction above has a little scrawl on the upper right that looks very much like what ultimately became Art's MAUS character (but without the eyes and nose) . Who knows? It's in bad condition, yeah.... But it could be an important piece of history. He was still working on the book when that series came out.
