Thanks, that's all I needed to read....LOL so you just post on eBay to promote your brand and not sell? HaHa. I'll tell you what. I put auctions on eBay to actually sell them. The market will tell you what it's worth. The final price may not be what I want but I sold it. We obviously differ on selling tactics.
"all I needed to read" is what I have said in nearly every single post to you....

"Obviously the auction is rigged so I can get offers and screw ebay out of its fees before someone goes off half cocked on me for my BIN price...."

This is the text from my original post here that resulted in your attacking me for days about the BIN price....see why I feel you have a child's ability to comprehend other's posts or perhaps you still don't bother to read anything and have a cavallier attitude in regards to whether your responses accurately depict the posts you are responding too.....sorry dude, nobody is sitting back saying, "isn't that cute, yet again brad didn't read the content of a post he has decided to respond to"

Guys... can you please move your stuff into a separate thread? Really getting tedious for the rest of us...  :^)

So here's a "color" sketch -- apparently because Mark signed in blue ink:

I agree with you 100%.  Brad dragged it into this thread and others.  I only mentioned my auction in the sketch spoiler thread since I was providing a scan of a sketch.  I hope our moderator can settle down and do his job and not drag this into more threads.

Classic! I tried to send seller a message asking how he/she knows it's a hostess double wacky, but can't get through (they do not sell to folks North of your border). Would love to hear their logic/reasoning...

Here's another one. The seller has been peddling these OC trifolds since before Obama took office. Now they are being packaged together.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-Topps-Wacky-Packages-Series-14-Tri-Fold-Partial-Set-of-4-/200837620133?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ec2dae1a5

Problem is they are still being auctioned off as singles. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1975-Topps-Wacky-Packages-14th-Series-Rare-TriFold-Back-Sugarmess-Bubble-Gum-/200837625215?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ec2daf57f

Are there no rules against this on ebay?

I guess, realistically, how could ebay police multiple auctions selling the same item? They simply would have no way of knowing. I have run into the flip of this issue twice in recent months (one Wacky item and one not), I won an auction, only to be told a day or two later by the seller that they did not have the item. How is this not a HUGE blot against the seller? Perhaps I am being an ass, but in both cases I left negative feedback even though my cost was refunded. I suppose I am a conspirasist and suspect foul play when this happens.

Nahh, I would be pissed too.
And you're right about e-bay and the policing of infractions like the one I flagged. Then again, they should be doing something with the money they generate from all those fees.   >(

The thing I don't get is the scans of the backs don't look like tri-folds.  I don't see the typical tri-fold lines on them.

Whoever paid this much for this sketch is NUTTS!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-WACKY-PACKAGES-HALLOWEEN-LIMITED-POST-CARD-SKETCH-CARD-BROWER-/221146156004?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item337d568be4&nma=true&si=bzSkd%2BstculufvhGzrD5Y053pf8%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

I have on similar but not as good as this one. I didn't even bother listing it because I didn't think I would get much for it. I probably wouldn't have because you can at least tell what this one is. Mine took me awhile to figure it out. I would rather keep some sketches than to sell cheap on eBay. So far its been a bit tough to see which artist and sketches are going for a higher value. So far the Simkos haven't been doing as well as I would have thought. I've heard from 2 sketch collectors that they don't care for the comic style sketches. I think they're really good. Most of the artists have stepped up their game for this series and its been one of the best PC sketch runs so far.

I'm also surprised the Gambino moons have sold so high. Both have sold for $140+. It's not even a monster, its a moon.

Is this a restick of Knuckles into a Oh Hairy frame?  If so, why does the knuckles fit so well?  I can't come up with any other black borders that explain this.  Anyone?

This thing just won't die.  Dave found this one back in March
http://www.wackypackagesforum.com/index.php?topic=84.msg43861#msg43861

Really doesn't fit that well, knuckles is larger than o'hairy, but still smaller than the outer border, and overlaps the die cut area giving it something to stick to.

I could not help myself.  I did a search to see if he still is selling that Duxie that looked like rats had eaten one of the corners.  Of course it is still available for a mere $7.99.

This is the guy that stated he wanted to have the most items for sale on ebay.  He came across as a bit of a kook when I asked about that Duxie sticker.

I know this guy on ebay has over a million items. and 2.5 million feedbacks. I know this guy is not the most, but lets see ol' Floydy boy get close.

What's he do if he sells these 15 cards before he sells them again as part of an even better deal, eBay auction: #170924126238  :-\

Good question. That's why I'm turning my sights on another auction. According to the seller, this is a 'frameable' piece. Once I figure out where to hang it on my wall, I will start bidding.

This one is terrific in its horribleness! Not sure if this counts as a custom sketch piece or not. And the puzzle piece that has been cut so it doesn't fit quite right is the cherry topping on the cheesecake (which is what we had for my birthday dinner tonight). Yum. (both cheescake and this auction). I am considering bidding on the beauty myself. It just needs the obligatory =====LOOK===== in the description. Its definetly a one-of-kind item... thank goodness.

I agree. If were the seller I would feel mighty embarassed if someone knew I was trying to sell something as utterly worthless as 9, no make that 8, 8 puzzle pieces + one hand sketched by an 8 year old and the whole thing crudely stuck to the back of a piece of cardboard.

When the day comes that someone is willing to pay $15 for something 'rescued' from under a pile of stinky mattresses in a shed behind a hoarder's house, that'll be the day we realize that we have truly run out of stuff to collect...
