Here’s a head scratcher.......

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F383086282195

The key here is the "Make Offer."  This is a very reliable seller.

Like Marc says, he's probably looking for offers, as the only thing here to me that's a "head scratcher" is the price is high given the condition.

Is it any more of a head scratcher than this listing for a complete set of 1982 OPC album stickers?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/223606004522

I bought a set in the 90s for about $20-40 and even have a full unopened box.  This is another long-time seller who I've bought ANS and Olds stuff from in the past.  Is this set really worth this much?

I have only seen maybe one or two of these sets in my 20 years of collecting, so I would say pretty rare. Hard to know what a proper number here is, though, but ~$6 per sticker might be a tad high.

not sure what you are missing, as all those options are automatically available on the 'create your listing' page, as either check boxes or fill in the blank

They always have been in years past but they are not there now. Im sure I am missing something. Thank you

when you select the 'sell' button, the first page eBay provides is the 'tell us what you're selling' page, with a single box for the title of the item.
Once you enter the title and hit 'Get Started', the next page is the 'Create Your Listing' page, with all those options you are looking for and everything else.

Yeah, I have no idea what is going on. It guides me through the entire process and I never see Reserve or make off options. I simply do not know whats going on. I appreciate the help. I will continue to mess with it.

Ok I got it. Sheeesh. There was a small "Add more options" link I had to enable to be able to see the reserve and make offer features....

Unfortunately there are lots of things to learn about Wacky's and not everybody has all the info.  Someone will be pretty bummed when they find out they bought a fairly worthless Wonderbread.  Also, how the heck did this get an 8?  It is VERY off-center.  I thought that was a big discount in the rating.

I clicked on the auction to see how many reissues he had for the $100...…….. after reading the auction and realizing it was $100 PER STICKER...……………………….I guess I will take them all...…...I mean...…...that would only be $26,400 for a full set of 264.

Not a wacky package item, but these should go for maybe $10-$15 each.

Wow!  I have several dozen JL cars to sell, and I expect about $10 apiece.  If I thought I could get that for a pair, I might just quit my job!!

Well, it is extremely rare that a Pupsi-Cola would have the border removed instead of the sticker -- or left intact.  If I could get $500 for a sticker in this condition, I'd have a border removing party tonight.

It is soo rare in fact that there are 10 on Ebay right now with the borders and a fracture of the bid price....  oh your right, it must be the rare borderless version!! Don't these sellers do even one minute of research before making these absurd claims?

Obviously they don't -- or they just hope that there's a sucker born every minute with enough cash in his or her hand to pay an outrageous price for something that isn't as valuable as the seller makes it out to be.

I don't know if this one has already made it on this thread... but I am still picking myself off the floor.  Asking price of $1500 plus $15 shipping for a set of the original 5th series in maybe Fair to VG condition at best with the rare borderless Cram no less,  and only one puzzle piece?  This is a $15 set for anyone willing to pay for it at all. This is why I left Evilbay and PayUpPal years ago.  I have an extra set of the original 5th series (one of my favs btw) in conservatively EX+/NRMT for the strict graders, with full puzzle that I am willing to sell to anyone on this forum for a mere $50.  Pictures available upon request of course.   I won't get any takers because it is not that rare, as opposed to what this scammer is trying to pull on the uneducated masses.....  really sad state of affairs.

ps...  this joker rates this swill at NRMT?  So, at least he or she knows how cards are rated.... but spent no time seeing if this swill rates this high or is even on the scale at all??  Ebay has cancelled sellers accounts for much less fraud than this.....  wow!!

But the sucker won't, and that's what makes him or her a sucker.

I see way too many things listed at prices that won't ever sell unless a true sucker comes along.  But what can eBay do about it?  They can't possibly police every one of the millions of items listed every day.

They can't even police everyone that breaks a policy.  I've seen magnets coming out of Asia that were just a scaled down copy of an ESPN Magazine body issue cover, which should be a copyright infringement.  I let eBay know, and they took it down.  Then the seller listed it again a couple of weeks later.  Eventually the people reporting it will give up when eBay doesn't do something to permanently stop the seller.  Even then what's to stop them from opening up a new account and doing it again.  We've even had discussions on this forum of similar happenings with non-Topps Wacky Packages items.  After all, more sellers = more buyers = more money for eBay.

I saw this yesterday in a survey I got for the Baltimore Comic-Con.  As a software person and survey writer, I know that you should always use definitive answers if you want to be able to completely analyze the results based on demographics.  So I wonder what message they are saying by 1) not using radio buttons with male and female, and 2) giving someone 50 characters to answer.

I answered with: born male, still male, male by God's creation

I left 5 characters unused

In today's overly politically correct world I'm guessing they did this to avoid pissing anyone off.

I tend to agree.  For radio buttons, you have to make sure you don't leave anything out.

$500 for a volleyball and a frisbee???

https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-WILSON-Endless-Summer-BEACH-KIT-w-Frisbee-Disc-Volleyball-Official-Size/303386137789?hash=item46a33914bd:g:2S4AAOSwUG1d48~e

So I went to their listings, and they must've programmed something wrong because everything they've listed since November 24th at 7PM is $500.  I wonder when they'll notice that no one is buying anything.
