It's been a while since I purchased the tough 3, but I think maybe $200 each instead of $250?  The Cheapios has a tape stain, so maybe it's worth even less.
As far as the set of 24, I think maybe $600 (around $25/poster)?  Also 22 of them have two sets of staple holes at the top - so maybe they're worth less for that?
The yellow wrapper is hard to find - maybe it's worth $100.  I'm looking for the Gold Rush gum version and would probably pay that much - but I tend to be a bargain hunter.

I think Dan's strategy is like mine, set a high price, take offers, settle off ebay as most of the time buyers of wacky packs are pretty easy to hunt down outside of ebay.

I've tried to explain this before but seems it takes awhile to be absorbed....I think he does what I would do which is list stuff for over market price, taking offers and selling privately.  In some cases, impatient 'must have now' folks take the buy it nows.  He also does this to draw attention to his auctions in general which results in sales of other items.  I believe Dan has done like $28k in sales in the last couple of months so he is not struggling but I know your post wasn't a worry about that....

Agree the poster price is really high but I hope it sells as I have all three with mailing tubes that someday I will part with.  I don't think your assessment on the 12th box is accurate.  I would buy that box in that condition for your "$80" fair price all day every day.....boxes are much harder to find than people give credit and they are some of the coolest visible items to collect.  I would never ever ever spend more money on an overpriced fabricated rare plastic super impulse item than an original series display box as a point of reference....

Ern, not sure where you came up with "my (your) $80" price for the 12th box. Dan has it listed for almost $500, I guessed it to be 2-3 times too high. My math shows that to come to $170-$250...though even that range seems high to me, as well.

What bothers me is not the idiotic asking price, delusional morons like this are a dime a dozen, but the horrific excuse for a tape repair.  Looks like the taping on the butt end of a hockey stick.  This is arguably not even legal tender any more.  What a dope.

BTW, I’m told many major banks have plenty of $2’s in stock, crisp and there for the asking.  I’m sure it’s hit and miss, but I would suggest starting there if you want any $2’s.  I’d only go to eBay for an older red seal bill.  They were printed well before 1976.

Star notes are replacements for printing errors, not for bills worn from circulation. You can probably check online to see what kind of premium they carry, if any.

Fancy serial numbers are also fun. I once got $4 for a dollar bill beginning with four threes in a row, and values increase exponentially with each additional consecutive matching digit. Serial numbers that are eight-of-a-kind are highly in demand, and I've seen estimates of $15,000 for any bill numbered 00000001.

Actually you lucked out because, as similar with 2003, the only star notes from 2013 come from Atlanta, San Fran, and New York.    Atlanta stars are listed at $45 in UNC63 condition, while NY and SF are both at $20.   If they're in nice, crisp condition, try 'em out on ebay and see what you can get!

I’ll have to get some more from the bank and see if the conditions are any better.  The ones I got are still close to new with no hard creases but definitely some signs of minor wear.  If only strict CU carries a premium, I’m probably not looking at any profit potential.  Truth be told my knowledge of currency is minimal in comparison to coins.
