OLDS3 is more like mid-late summer at this point depending on ANS8. The OLDS 5x7 set thing is undergoing a revision right now but there should be something coming out after the next postcard set.

But Old School 2 isn't released yet! And I speculate ANS8 may be released Summer or Fall 2011. And I hope Old School 3 has no delay like Old School 1 had and the upcoming Old School 2 has.

That's such an intriguing post as, other than OLDS 2, ANS8 (I assume) and the new postcard set, I can't think of anything else.  Oh, erasers.  I'm dying to know what else is in the pipeline!
Maybe a magnet series to capitalize on the emerging collectible magnet market?

It will be a lot easier to search for magnet packs in a series of all magnets!

Thanks to what some are calling wacky weed, we will probably never see another magnet. Two series (ans6 and ans7) tainted by it so far :-(

Has it been a week already?! Well, I've got a bit of good news. We're starting to get things in order for the next postcard set and there will be a lot of cool new features upcoming. As for the release date, no need to worry, the postcards won't be released the week of Jan 17 (or in January for that matter). Still working on the details...

Neil,

Any updates? Slow news flow as of late. Please throw us a bone. I know you have good stuff in store for us.  :)

Neil,

Any word on if the subscription thing will happen for Postcards Rel 7?  I know you are not discussing the set yet but how about disclosing aquisition options?

I guess I have a little bit of good news I can share. I don't think the subscription thing will be necessary this time around! That's all I can really say for now...

My first reaction is "NOooooooo". It sounds like they may get over produced or everyone only gets one.

Whatever happens I will be on it when they go on sale. I vote for a Midnight sale. Scalpers might be sleeping.

Midnight would be awesome!  I was just transferred to a new position in a new office, and will now likely be unable to be home during the day for a really short buying window, especially if there's little notice.  I've been able to order every postcard series so far, and getting shut out now would be devastating.

I think I'll save the Midnight Sale for the next Halloween release! I've got some ghoulish ideas already!

No worries on the next postcard release. Everyone will get ample notice this time!

How about a 10 PM EST start time? That will appease us working stiffs who are not at a desk with internet access during the 9 -5 time period. I can enlist a friend to help but prefer to do it myself.

To stay up late one night out of the year is enough to make you leave the hobby?  You must be barely hanging on now if that's the case.

It's probably more appropriate to say that I've never really been in the hobby; just peeking in the doorway for the last ten years.

I see, this series is a tough one, and it got a lot tougher now that sellers/dealers who don't collect caught on to how profitable they can be.  Hopefully they have some kind of plan to help that scenario but it's a tough one to remedy.

Any news on the Postcard front?   Some of us prefer the "Large Print Readers Digest" Version of Wackies.

Can an approximate release date get pinned down for Rel 7?   Please advise,   DrDeal

I want to take some time and actually enjoy these new parodies.  I realized just the other day I never even put my OLDS1 into sheets and binders.  Need to make a trip out to Target this weekend to buy some sheets for OLDS1 and OLDS2.

Wow, you have some catching up to do!  I enjoy putting my series into my binders and doing an info sheet for each series.  When you want to go back and look it over or show it to someone it makes it much easier and looks better.

I agree.  I've not been spending a lot of time on these lately, so the arrival of OLDS2 gives me incentive.
