I will not be there till Sat morning. Its 3 1/2 hours for me so we will stay Sat night. I plan on swinging by the show on Sun also. Look for some deals and maybe an extra promo pack or 2.

I left the house at 6:30 am only to have a 'flat tire' light on.  So, here I sit at home at 7:12, waiting for the tire shop to open........  What's worse is I'm letting down Elizabeth.

That stinks on ice! We had a flat tire on our way to a week long vacation this Summer - so we had to unload the tightly packed trunk to get to the spare in the sweltering heat, change the tire, pack the $%^&@ trunk up again AND only drive 50 miles per hour for the last 2 hours of the trip. However, going so slow wasn't that bad, I must be getting old.

Good luck on things going smoothly from here on out.

Aha!  So that surprise item has finally turned up.   That item is a limited edition , signed and numbered comic book that Topps printed up.   Each sketch card I did for the Halloween 2011 postcard series is one panel of a longer comic strip.  The entire comic strip is printed here in book form, along with a checklist showing all 50 sketch card panels which make up this comic strip and the sketch card numbers which these drawings appear on.

Wow, very cool!  I'm really glad I got sketch card  #43. It's a keeper!

So, Elizabeth and I did finally make it to the show, safe and sound, although much later than we intended.  It was great seeing so many forum friends, and doing some in-person trades and deals.  Looking forward to doing this again soon!

They weren't given out as a promo, but the Topps booth was selling them at a special, reduced price.  Apparently they will be available on the Topps Online store before too long.  Or at least that is what I was told!

For anyone looking for the Olds 3 promo..........I spoke to someone who went to the show today and asked Mike J. about how many of them they did, and if they were going to be released any other way, and he said that they did 500 of them and they were just made for the Philly show.  They actually ran out of them today, so what's out there is all there is!

I'm not sure about Baby Wrath but I would guess they did 650 of them.

I had a fantastic time at the show! I got there right at 10am stood in line for about 10 min, but i was so excited i didnt care. Here is a list of the people i met:

I am really bummed I missed this show but my sister's marriage ranked as quite a bit higher than this show  :o

Where are all of the notes about the great finds?  Nobody found any luds, $5 grime Heavy's, high series stickers for $1 each, anything?  Are the dealers this wiped out of stuff these days or is nobody looking any more?
