WTB: 1989 OPC variations
« on: April 22, 2025, 12:38:32 PM »
Just when I think I'm done with something, I read Greg's site and learn I'm missing some variations. I need two variations from the 1989 OPC reprint series:

5 Mop & Glop puzzle back
23 Eviltime diecut 2 (lower diecut) - see here: https://wackypackages.org/stickers/1989_opc/23_compare.html

yep, there are four card duplicates on the uncut sheet.
I brought this up about three years ago with Greg, and provided scans of the card fronts for all 8 cards.

The Eviltime is the only one that may not be immedialtely obvious, as they both have a checklist backing, but the image on the front is noticeably different between the two.
The reason is that all four of the duplicate cards used images of die-cut stickers as their source. Resulting in the image of the die-cut being visible on the card. So all four cards have both an image of a die-cut and an actual die-cut. It doesn't look like Greg included this additional info that I provided to him though.

here's a look at Eviltime, with a very clear faux die-cut alongside the actual die-cut
