Does anyone know of any info about Hollywood Zombies? I thought I heard something about it being an offshoot of Wacky Packages and Garbage Pail Kids. How many series were there? Is it worth collecting?

Hollywood Zombies contained only one series that was released in 2007 and was originally unsuccessful (I think) for Topps, but I personally think that it's definitely a good set and well worth your time both looking for it and eventually finding it.

It contains three promo cards (with the third one being a different variation of base card #3 (Paris Hellton)), 72 base cards (71 cards and a checklist, with all 72 of them in both regular and Freaky Foil versions), two bonus cards (with both of them being two different variations of base card #45 (Britney Speared)) and 10 Glow in the Dark Morbid Mug Shots cards that have a glow in the dark feature on the back of all 10 of them.

It was originally avaiable only in select comic book specialty stores and two home video stores (which were Suncoast Motion Picture Company (now defunct) and fye (still surviving into the present day - go figure, huh?)).

It was parodied in ANS6 as Hollywood Nobodies (base sticker #64).

Also, from what I've heard somewhere and IIRC, a comic book that was based on it was planned by IDW Publishing, but it was never published.

Would it have been an ongoing series, a miniseries, or a one-shot? I guess we'll never know.

Finally, two more threads for this series can be found on pgs. 1 and 4 of "Parody Card Discussion (non-Wacky Packages)".

I have zombie masks, no idea how I got them but they seem to be images used in the set as cardboard masks.

Thanks! I knew about the masks, but didn't include them because I didn't know if this person wanted them or not.

AFAIK, there were only four of them and they were Wacko Jacko, Paris Hellton, Donald Stump, and George W. Botch.

Should this thread be combined with the aforementioned threads on pgs. 1 and 4 of "Parody Card Discussion (non-Wacky Packages)"? It'd probably be so much easier that way if they were.

Also available were:
     - a 4 page sales flyer
     - a poster sales flyer. 10” x 17”
     - there were sketch cards associated with this release but I don’t recall
how they were sold or distributed. Perhaps they were only artist sales
cards. The one I have is by Jason Brower of “Gary Moldman”.
     - 2 wall art pieces (Kim Kadaver and Miley Virus) 10” x 14” with wide white
        boarder
     - 5 poster/wall art with Topps 75th anniversary logo.  14” x 11”

I found excellent condition copies of the dealer sheet and the 4-page promo flyer for this series on eBay and bought them. Thanks for the help!

Actually, the first wall art piece that you mentioned was titled Kim Kadaver-shian and Kanye Waste. The second one's correct, though. I really wish that those two had been made into trading cards as well, because I'd have picked them up in an instant.

According to his website www.hipsteria.com, Fred Wheaton did the artwork for a card named "Groan & Maulissa Rivers", but it was never made.   UPDATE: The section's probably still there, but if it is, I can't find it.

Just got the "dealer sheet" today. It turned out to be a magazine ad instead (which magazine it was, though, I have no idea whatsoever).

I guess that this series didn't have a true dealer sheet after all, only a 4-page promo flyer (among other things, as mentioned above). But then again, that's not a surprise, considering that it had relatively very few actual dealers that were selling it in the first place, as compared to other Topps trading card series that were available at the time (i.e., 2007).

Forgot to add previously, there is also a 8.5” x 11” window cling sell sheet.

I almost forgot to mention that there's a second lost Hollywood Zombies base card: Russell Croak.

The picture for this card is only found on the upper right hand corner of the back of base card #48 (Patrick Dumpsey) and it's a small picture that only shows his head.

Due to the fact that this picture even exists, I'd say that this card was all finished and ready to go, but it was never included in the series for unknown reasons.

A cease and desist letter, maybe? Again, I guess we'll never know.

Yesterday I got the 4-page promo flyer. So that's finished.

Scot, the sketch card you’re referring to may be part of the Artist on Demand sketch series from 2013-2014.  Some on the forum may remember that the series was originally teased with a Wacky sketch of Hungry Jerk.  Well the last series in production was Hollywood Zombies, Music City Zombies and Capital-Hill Zombies.  As I recall we were sent the blanks and then the series got Cancelled!
Here’s one I did of Boris Goreloff but looking at it now it looks more like Ronald Reagan!

No, I think that it actually does look like Boris Karloff. I'd know his face anywhere!

I just found out that on base card #48 (Patrick Dumpsey), in addition to Russell Croak, there's another name and head picture: Brained Pitt.

This head picture, however, is the same one from base card #63 (Bradgelina).

Also, on the official website for this series (which can be seen by going to the series' Wikipedia page and clicking on the website's link there) it says, "Come see us at the San Diego Comic Con!" (this one was obviously the 2007 one).

So we have possibly two of these cards that we know of, Boris Goreloff and Gary Moldman. Does anyone know of any others that may exist out there? I tried looking them up on eBay and found nothing.
