"Holiday Treat" Charity Parody Postcards On Sale Soon!

Hi Guys & Gals! Who's ready for a little Holiday Fun? Well, buckle up your seat belts, because or parody set is coming back this year with all the bells and whistles! Many of the artists that helped make the set a hit last year contributed once again with some awesome art! But wait! There's more! We also talked Mark Parisi into providing his own unique take on holiday humor! And we journeyed through the jungles of Puerto Rico to get Jeff Zapata's cartoon contribution! And our expert team even went so far as to corner the ever elusive and semi-mythical George Wright to add his illustrious efforts to our set! This year's set will go for $35, and all funds collected will go to Hurricane Relief efforts in North Carolina through the American Red Cross. Be sure to set aside some Christmas cash so you don't miss out, because Paul Harris has pulled out all the stops to make this the best set yet! Stay tuned to this Bat-Channel for updates!

This is not a Kickstarter project because it is being created 100% by the participants. The artists are donating their works, and the coordinators are paying out of pocket for all costs associated with production. This will allow every bit of money collected to go to the donation being made for hurricane relief. This is a limited edition set, and only about 100 will be available for purchase. We will be charging a shipping and handling so that tracking can be provided for orders. We expect the final cards to arrive from the printers by mid December, and will ship shortly after that. If you missed last year's set, there are still some available for $30. This year's set is $35 for 13 postcards.

So as some on the forum will remember, I started doing a small Holiday Treat offering over 10 years ago.  Now I can hardly say I was the first as Neil had been doing his wonderful Holiday Camera cards for years and just that year Duznt, John Kolesar, had done a great Halloween postcard giveaway.  My original idea was to thank the forum for keeping the Wacky dream alive and just being such a superb place to hang out.  The first card in 2014 was a Wacky Holidays greeting card.  Then in 2015 it was a 4” by 6” postcard with a single, unnumbered parody gag, Elk on the Shelf.  It wasn’t until 2016 that the HP (holiday parody) numbering scheme began when I invited other gag writers Paul Harris and Mark Parisi to join in.  Well now a decade later Pete and Paul have made it their own and created one of the hugest, greatest Holiday offerings this side of the North Pole!  I have to thank them for keeping me in the loop and asking for my thoughts on their wonderful work.  Well it’s now expanded to a dozen artists and in the larger 5” by 7” postcard format!  Here’s a fun teaser image showing some of the goodness the new set contains. I’m sure this will peak your interest and lead to some fun speculations on which gag is what.  Let me tell you as cool and exciting as these hints are the final postcards are spectacular and will be a fun holiday highlight for all!
