Anyone familiar with the artist behind the cartoons on Topps Baseball Cards? Here's an article about it: https://www.dailycartoonist.com/index.php/2024/08/17/sports-cartooning-and-topps-baseball-cards/

Very cool topic, it never occurred to me to wonder about original art or who was behind those little cartoons on the back of baseball cards from certain years.  Just like Bazooka Joe comic strips, the drawings are so small and simple that the creation of it is easily overlooked.  As for the Laughlin World Series cards, I’ve loved them ever since I got a pack as a Halloween treat circa 1978.  Took me until the late 90’s to learn more about them via the internet.  Was able to get the 1979 or 1980 short set via unopened packs at a very reasonable price at the time, maybe $1.50 or so per pack.  I think it covered 1940-1979.
