Weird picture on newer Wacky?

Recently I was looking through my collection when I looked a little closer at the "Bernie's Maple Syrup" sticker:



Right next to Bernie's face and below his syrup bottle is what looks like a microscopic image of a lady in a bikini? Does anybody have any information about it? Some kind of weird easter egg? Note that this was present in my actual collection too (and all the duplicates I have), not just this scan.

Isn't that card from the 2016 series? How is it possible that no one has spotted that before now? Does anyone know who the original artist is? It may take asking them to solve this riddle!

From the 50th Anniversary set. According to Fanatical_and_Sickly's fantastic Master Lists, it shows the artist as being Davis Gross.

I am assuming this is a parody of Bernard's Maple Syrup (see link below to a pic). On the label there is a framed picture of a winter cabin scene. I wonder if a summer beach scene is meant to be the spoof-opposite of the winter cabin scene.

Wow, what a strange little mystery that what you sent doesn't have the bikini babe on it.  I never noticed her on my sticker, but maybe it was too small for it to even register to my aging eyes.

So, the most likely scenario here is a simple accident: Someone in the pre-press department may have inadvertantley cut and pasted the bikini image in Adobe Indesign (or a similar program) when preparing the file for print. It's small enough that it would be easily missed by the printers.

I agree that that's most likely what happened, as someone who's worked with InDesign before. Still, not exactly the most "safe" image to accidentally paste...

Or, someone may have just wanted to see if anyone else would notice or catch it - like Norm Saunders signing the Bum Chex. If it slipped through, they'd have a fun story to tell.

That's certainly possible, but  production depts. typically have to sign and approve as the job passes their desk, so i think it could be an innocent mistake.

I used Imgur for the upload of that picture, which I find to be more reliable overall. However, I do sometimes use PostImage as well. I've found that if you edit the URL just a little bit on "broken" PostImage uploads, they can actually be fixed! It's been a while since I've done it, though, so I don't remember exactly what I did. Nonetheless, I made sure to save the picture to my personal storage too!

I've found that if you edit the URL just a little bit on "broken" PostImage uploads, they can actually be fixed! It's been a while since I've done it, though, so I don't remember exactly what I did. Nonetheless, I made sure to save the picture to my personal storage too!

The primary fix is changing “postimage.com” to “postimage.cc” but there isn’t anything that works 100%.

I can't even send images on here at all anymore. On Edge, the link is absent. On Safari (iPhone), I can press the link but get an error message when I try to port the image over here. Quite frustrating.
