OK, got it.  That's a lot better than I initially thought, but those Comic/Wonky odds  really screwed me up!

OK...that makes more sense. So you get 80 cards. Hopefully a box will secure one base set. Wonkys are going to be expensive! One out of 16 packs.

Well, I placed my order.  I figured I should get it in quickly, because I didn't see that it would be available for a whole week, like the GPK was last week.  I will have plenty of base sets available, and pretty much all my foils and sketches.

Doesn't make sense for me to buy one box, because I most likely won't get a complete base set, and I'll get just a small handful of random chase cards.

Don't care about the foils, the sketches, the wrapper cards or the Wacky Pals, but I hope to buy a base set and hopefully the Mars Attacks and Wonkies from someone here or eBay.

One thing I LOVED seeing about the details for this set was the number 9!
The base and subset will finally fit nicely into those 9-pocket sheets.

Patrick, I did not notice that!  That’s so cool and perhaps even a Wacky first.  Yes, it is a joy to have a set and sub-sets that don’t bleed onto another 9 pocket page.  In fact there is nothing more annoying than a single card on a page so well done Topps and hopefully this will continue!

Not sure why you’d think that you’d not get a base set…I’d suspect it to be likely, unless you’re calling “base” both back types. I think Wonkys are going to be pretty large bucks, wouldn’t surprise me if the set of 5 starts out between $400-$500.

From what I’ve seen so far, the artist lineup is very similar, if not the same as, the 2024 ANS Series 1 list.

I’m just going by what I’ve seen so far.

Doh!  Tom, of course, you’re absolutely right!  With a 36 card base set and 64 base cards in a box the odds are completely in favor of getting a set in a box.  I think maybe he was thinking about ANS 1 where the 50 card set made the odds a bit longer.

It does seem odd that they would produce so few as to sell out in less than 24 hours. I bought one box, i will post whether it produces a base set of 36…..I also noticed they wont ship for a couple of weeks, meaning you wont get them before Halloween unless you pay the upcharge for expedited shipping. Still, thrilled to get a set (hopefully) of Halloween themed Wackies….

But compared to the last GPK set, which sold out in 45 minutes, this was an eternity! 😀

Yes, it was 1350.
The earlier ANS set had 1875. And did not sell out for a few months.
