Does anyone have any information on the planned series of Wacky Packages Micro Cards that was announced a while ago?

Yes, that's the one! I was just wondering how they turned out and if anything more was going to be done with them in the future.

Super Impulse is no longer in target or Walmart in a big way. Their volumes must be impacted by this change. No word on anything new in the Wacky area and S4 Mini's continue to  be "On Hold".

I just wrote two emails to Super Impulse regarding both the Minis 4th Series and the Micro Cards. Hopefully, I'll get an answer soon.

In what can only be called one of the least significant developments in the history of Wacky Packages, I was surprised yesterday when I was purusing the clearance aisle at Walmart to find a box full of World's Smallest Classic Mini Collectible Toys boxes and one of the "mystery" toys that might possible be included was a pack of the Wacky/GPK mini cards.  The boxes were normally $5.48 and on clearance for $2.50 each.  Out of curiosity, I bought two of the boxes and both contained a mini skateboard "Tech Deck".  Since I never found the micro cards at retail (and am still missing "Seven Limes"; anyone have one?), I figured I'd take a chance.  Alas.  I doubt this news will inspire anyone to rush out to Walmart in the off chance you could find a pack of these boxes with an off chance of a pack of micro Wackys inside, but perhaps at least one of you out there will be intrigued enough to check out the clearance aisle and see what you find

Looking forward to pics when you can upload them. Love the Micros. They never sold much so them ending up in those mystery boxes makes sense.

The "Mona Lisa thing" is the button next to the YouTube button (directly under the italics button) that make it easy for you to customize your post.  That button is a shortcut link to postimage, like the ebay button is to neatly add links to ebay items!

Thanks, Pat!  I'm embarassed to say that I still don't know how to use the button (and no need to try to explain it to me unless you think an untech-savvy 8 year old could understand the written directions), but I at least see where it is

As I was looking through the flyer that came with these mystery mini boxes, I came across this listing of Wacky Minis series 4:


Perhaps that means the 4th series was farther along than we may have suspected.  Or perhaps it means nothing at all.  Just thought I'd pass it along.

I also noticed on the flyer a "Breakfast Buzz" line of cereal boxes, which I'm interested in and have not seen in stores.  Because I'm a glutton for being ignored, I emailed Super Impulse to ask about that line as well as the Wacky series 4.  To my shock, I got an email back within minutes.  Here it is in its entirety:

I bought a couple of cases and kept them unopened.  I bought a near-complete set from Dr. Deal (I think) and still need three more: Bald-Aid, Top Secret, and 9 Limes blue chase if anyone has them.

I think series 4 was rumored to be all ANS titles, but I don't think there was much known, so that was indeed speculation.

Unfortunately, there was no checklist provided on the flyer.  Just the tiny picture I shared here :(

I wanted to check for your stickers when you posted, Dennis, but I have packed those stickers up for my upcoming move.  Ask me again in about 3 months - I might be settled in by then!

The painting is completed, the new flooring is about 40% done, and the kitchen counter should go in in about a week.  Then just things like the bathroom vanities, putting up curtains and drapes, and actually MOVING.

looks like exactly the same flyer as was in the micro card clamshells, witht the same ad for the S4 set

Ah yes, of course, Feetena is already a series 3 title.   Interesting it's pictured in a series 4 promo.

I stopped by my local Walmart, but couldn’t find a clearance aisle.
I eventually found a small section at the end of the Halloween candy aisle with a yellow clearance sign above it. Not much there, and no Super Impulse stuff anywhere in the store.

I go to Walmart fairly frequently and the existence and "quality" of the clearance aisles vary considerably.  The one where I found the World's Smallest Classic Minis is the only one where I've seen this product before.

Regarding Wacky Mins S4; I just asked my SI contact about the series being featured in the latest SI Product Insert. She said not this year and they have not discussed next year yet. She said she will email me when she gets a release date. The fact that they were put into the insert is the great news. My guess is mid year 2025.
