Very cool, Pete!  I don't know the details of how much three boxes would cost, but I'd be thrilled to get a custom sketch and, even if I don't pony up the money to buy 3, I'm glad to see you're promoting the release with this sweet incentive.  Here's hoping the set is a hit!

Hey Everybody, I've been told by Topps that just 10 official blanks will be made available for this promotion, and four are already spoken for! I plan on sticking to my word and doing as many sketch cards as needed though, so the 11th sketch and thereafter will be done on some cool non-Topps blanks that I found online. They are distinct from Topps blanks, but have graphic design on par with them. Only 6 official Topps blanks left! Get'em while they're hot!

To be fair, don't you think the first 10 people to order 3 or more (I ordered 6) should get 1 of the Topps. I am willing to give 1 up so others can. I'm pretty sure I'm in for 2. 1 Topps for the first 10, if you ordered more than 3 you get 1 Topps and how many of the others accordingly.  Just a thought I don't run the show.

Jim this is a really nice and good suggestion.  I agree that to spread the official sketches to 10 forum members seems like a fair and good approach.   Not sure what Pete or others might feel but I certainly hope Pete considers it and discusses with the forum members who might be impacted.  Obviously it would have to be unanimous to make it happen.

Hi everyone! Boy, my mouth wrote a big check that my hands are going to cramp up cashing! We've had tons of orders documented for this set, and I'm going to end up doing a huge number of drawings. There IS life outside of Wackys though, and I leave for a week's hike on the Appalachian Trail tomorrow. Be back next Sunday. Everyone thinks about your selections and I'll get started on them once the set is received. Thank you Neil for your generous offer! I'm in a tough spot because of the unexpectedly limited number of Topps blanks. I will listen to everyone's suggestions, and decide what is fairest when I get back. Reception is very spotty in the mountains, so consider me off the grid until next Sunday. Stay Wacky!

At this point, it looks like I have to draw 74 cards! I only have 14 Topps blanks, so the rest will have to be alternatives. If I go on a "first come, first served" basis, then the first 4 people to order get all the Topps blanks. If I give each of the first 14 orders one Topps blank and the rest alternatives, that spreads the wealth better. I haven't heard feedback from the forum on which to utilize, so I'm not sure yet.

Any luck in the request for Topps to issue more blank cards?  Also, if anyone has any blank return cards from earlier series, potentially those could be used as well. 

A compromise would be a max of 2 Topps cards for the early birds and “spread the wealth” after that.

That’s my brain dump.  Best hope would be more blanks from Topps; how hard could that be for them?!

I am of the thought that 1 to the first 14. That seems fairest to me. Why should someone who is at work be punished for not being able to order quickly. This is a generous artists giveaway, not some odds on the back of a pack.

I am not on the list so I can give impartial opinion on this.  Spread to the 14, you have no requirement to send all 14 Topps blanks to the 4 collectors.  This is your act of generosity hence you can set the rules and adjust based on market conditions as you see fit.

     I finally have the cards from Topps, and combined with what Neil sent, I have enough to give each person one Topps sketch card, with the rest being non-Topps. Please be sure I have your selections and current mailing address. I am still trying to move to my new home, so these may take a little while, but all will be sent as soon as I can get them drawn.
