That's correct, Rob. Each artist did 6 color cards.

42/500 = 8.4% color sketches for Halloween sets

Was old school 100 total color? 100/3650 = 2.7%? color sketches

ans7 is even much much less than that

I don't believe any of the regulars here would have bought of 25 sets against Topps policy like this (well maybe just one) screwing even more of the other members out of sets, so not only do I not believe your statement I believe the complete opposite of what you are saying.

even though I didn't get a color card, I feel like I still did with Smokin' Joe's, as the fill color is some variety of sickly grey/green

At what point have I screwed a Wacky dignitary out of his set? What is the ethical/unethical differential? 2 sets? 6 sets? 19 sets? Who says? You? Topps? Obama? You can live by your Wacky code of "fair" distribution. Buy one set and be happy with it. You only bought one set, right? One set per person is what's REALLY fair. But don't characterize others for making money on Wacky Packs. Nobody is entitled to Wacky anything. Poor Brad makes a sale on ebay and you make him feel he has to explain himself for it. Topps has created the demand and they are the ones who refuse to meet it. And don't be making any big profits on your ebay auctions or I'll waterboard you in your own pool of hypocrisy. Harumph!

I have no idea. I've never had a problem with your buying and selling habits. There's nothing wrong with making profit in moderation, there is a problem when a people or persons start jumping through hoops in ways that will benefit themselves but be a detriment to others. I think most people here know that. I'm done on this topic.

Who said you were the one that Scary Lee was referring to who would purposely buy 25 sets in screwing others?  It is clear that there is a definition of "fair" in this forum that people buy within the limits set by Topps.  Is that the end all be all definiton of fairness in a world driven by capitalism, no....but it is an unwritten rule to live by and certainly has a ring of reasonableness to it.  Why this irks you is beyond me.

I do agree with you that people shouldn't criticize what people do with the items they purchased within this reasonably unwritten rule.  If Brad wants to sell flip his sketches so be it.  If someone wants to break sets apart, so be it.  If Turbo paid for the gas to go to a Philly show and he wants to sell promo cards, so be it.
