Wacky witches and vampires! What more could you want for Halloween?!

Exactly!  But, the Halloween Botman sketch you did last year is still my favorite  :great:  I smile every time I see it.

I'm waiting for the return of the Bots!!

Wacky vampires, witches and bots, oh, my!

Ah now, a vampire with Bots stuck on his teeth, that would be FUNNY!  I tried to eat the Dots I bought last year to get the Halloween boxes, and they just stuck to my teeth so much I gave up.  I now have sealed boxes of Dots rocks......

Was able to make a scan of my sketches.  If anyone is looking to trade a witch for a vampire, let me know!

Who is BFarin? Is he on the forum? It sounds so familiar but I can't place it. I noticed he had this sketch for $750 and now it's raised to $850 with a huge BIN. I'm just trying to wrap my head around the change and why charge more when it hasn't sold in a day.

I might have misunderstood, but I thought Neil said he did his 6 piece puzzles in duplicate, so that a person trying to collect an entire puzzle  would have more than one shot at a particular piece.

Gotta go see if I can find that post.......

Ironically, The bio set could be worth more than the sketches. I don't see it happening but the completists in this world will pay to play

Could be. I for one have decided not to pursue the bio cards in this set. I like them a lot, but after ANS7 I'm not biting on the hard odds anymore.

Bought a TS10 and a standard postcard set from a friend of mine. No wrapper, sketch, or bio, but at least I have the base set and I'm more into the bonus and standard post cards anyway. Was more $ than buying a single unopened pack from Topps, but oh well.

My best idea for those of us who missed out on this set is to form some kind of Wacky Buddy system (possibly illegal in parts of Iowa):

For example, if I had been able to buy five sets, I would be perfectly happy to sell two of those on to two people who did not get any for the same price I bought them plus shipping. Three is enough for me. Someone else would do the same for me if they got in and I missed it, so at least I would be able to get one unopened pack. Thus avoiding the apparent main quibble: the fact that those who miss out don't get a single pack, where others get five. That's my two cents.

OK, here's a random bunch of sketch cards. No rhyme or reason to the group, just had the scans handy.

ENJOY!

I pulled the exact Engstrom witch shown in this scan, love it!

The postcards are not the issue because I bought 5 sets and I don't need 5 sets of postcards. It's the sketches. I don't want to part with the ones I got. I really like them and I didn't get a hippie ;D

There are two different puzzles (tootsie troll & starbeast). Each puzzle consists of 6 pieces and I made four of each piece.

Thanks Neil!  So, that's 48 of your sketches, leaving quite a few others.  I'm looking forward to seeing them turn up.

Neil, I'm a bit confused. So you made 8 puzzles with 6 pieces each? So all of your sketches were puzzle pieces? Did you do any without a puzzle piece?

That troll on the Tootsie Troll Wacky reminds me of the Ogres from the 1980's Disney produced The Adventures of the Gummi Bears cartoon series.

Since the 2010 Wacky Halloween Postcards were a fast sellout, why not do a 2010 Wacky Christmas Postcards series for November-December 2010 (mostly Wacky Packages takes on current toys and games since that's what kids get for Christmas!)

How are you figuring all of his were puzzle pieces?  If he did 48 puzzle pieces that leaves @ 23 others, no?  There are 500 sketches total.  48 x 7 = 336.

That's some wacky math! So, here's the lowdown: I did a total of 48 cards that are puzzle pieces. The rest are good old fashioned onezeez!

Hey, I just noticed there's an error on my bio card. It says "off the mark" has been syndicated since 1997, but it should be 1987. It's missing 10 years of hard work!

I was very lucky in that one of my pulls was a Color Camera Sketch and the card has "Colored Sketch Card" on it. I guess that each artist was given a small number of blank Sketch cards predestined to become Colored Sketches. How many did each artist do this time around?
