what non wacky cards are you looking for?
I’m not sure how big the shows are nowadays, but at the few I attended in the late 90’s, I was amazed at how much vintage material was there other than Wackys. In one visit I finished a Bazooka Joe card set from childhood that was about 4-5 cards away from finished. That blew my mind.
On the subject of Bazooka Joe, if there are any enthusiasts out there, the set in question has no copyright date but the same puzzle backs as another set with different B.J. Comic fronts and a 1975 copyright. Every information source I’ve seen on these sets calls them a 1972 set but I distinctly remember collecting them after Wackys were over, most likely 1977. I also remember running to a particular candy store to buy packs countless times, and it was several blocks from home including crossing a major boulevard. No way I was doing that at 5 years of age (1972).
I also have some 1975s but not nearly as many. Stands to reason because I was definitely still active in Wacky pursuit that year. So the 1972 portrayal just doesn’t add up. And it wasn’t old stock, the gum was definitely fresh.
