2023 Wacky Packs Flashback ‘73 online set

I'm probably going to be depending on either trades or purchases from forum members just to complete a base set. I only ordered one 5-pack.

Do we know if the foil chase cards have just puzzle back? Or do they have Ad backs as well?

I only pulled three foil cards. All three have puzzle backs.

All my sketches were in the Ajerx boxes.  My foils were in the Band Ache boxes.  The portraits and attackys were in the Shot Wheel boxes.

but it was about 50/50 whether those boxes had a hit or had one of the portrait & Attacky cards.

overall was the same as the ANS boxes, with 1:5 Sketches and 1:5 Foil

So everyone who ordered and received the 5-pack bundle - did you get one of each of the box variants in your set?

Hopefully Topps collated them that way, since only a specific box gets the foil or sketch, as a few people mentioned above.

each "lunch bag" box only contains 1 generic silver foil pack of 13 cards.
(this is different from how the 2023 ANS were packaged)

Thanks for that pic and info!  Does that mean, if I ordered a 5-pack, I'll get some combination of the three lunch bags showing in your picture?

My guess is that they just re-assigned all the 1-packs into 5-pack bundles, as that’s what was selling.
Maybe now the remaining boxes will sell out.

That's typically the way business works.  If something isn't selling, you offer it at a discount to sell off your remaining stock. 

I do agree with you though - if the 5-pack is nothing more than 5 individual boxes, then they should have been able to sell both offerings simultaneously until there were less than 5 total boxes left.  Then the 5-packs should have been listed as sold out.  Until they started shipping these out, no one other than Topps knew how they would be packaged.  It seems as though Topps is either unable to fully describe their product, or they just want "an air of mystery" in what you're buying.

That’s a ~10% discount price. Full price for 5 boxes is $99.95

The 5 box packs were $89.99 when they first went up before selling out. I think that is what he meant by not discounted.

I really like this set, however, having each pack in a separate "collector box" is a little much.  How about a plain old pack to cut down on the waste and cost to produce.

Received my 7 packs all ordered in 4 shipments.  1, 1, 3, 2.  I got  1 Attacky Pack, 1 Portrait, 4 Foils and 1 sketch (Color Dr Ono). Happy with those pulls.
Got 42 / 50 base cards.

The full-body depictions in the bottom row there are kinda cool.  Of course we’ve seen the Weakies baseball player before but the Koduck duck is a first.

I can't say I like that first sketch card (who/what is it?), but the Crud one is awesome.  And you had some fantastic luck getting the full set of portraits with no doubles.

I got one sketch in my five packs:   a super-cool color Cap'n Crud sketch from Aaron Laurich.   Thanks Aaron!   I think it's only color sketch card I've ever gotten ever, even with all my Halloween purchases from long ago.

Did you order a 5-pack like me, or go for a larger order? You're probably not going to want to let go of any of your Attacky Packs then.
