Yes, and they got the name of the food wrong; in every one of the TV series, it was "brontoburgers".

“Signed” by whom?

The artist on board for this project is HED and for this initial SERIES 1 FIRST PRINT release, each and every individual card will be hand signed and numbered 0001 to 1000 (excluding the Checklist card and Mini Sticker

There are a lot of inconsistencies in the listing:

Quote
These cards are professionally press printed on heavy 14 pt gloss card stock (NOT home/desktop printed; NOT laser/inkjet printed).  IMPORTANT!  Please be aware that even though these have been professionally printed, there may still be some color variances and card trim/centering variances that are inherent in the printing process.

These will be listing in small batches of 25 or so to ensure that orders get filled in a timely fashion.

If they're professionally printed, 1) in this day and age, why would there be color variances and trim/centering variances that are inherent in the printing process and 2) why are only batches of 25 available to ensure orders are filled in a timely fashion?  It seems to me that you would get them all printed and cut (since it was stated that trimming/centering is part of the printing process) at the same time, then processing orders simply becomes packaging and mailing.  Methinks there are other reasons for these issues not listed here.  Perhaps HED takes a long time to sign 1000 cards?  But he only has a three-letter name; it's not like he's John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt.  That would take hours to sign on each card.

Surprised nobody is mentioning the clear "elephant in the room" here!

He or she is reprinting Wacky Packages and licensed Hanna Barbera characters without permission.

The wrapper clearly says "bootleg" on it, so I'm not sure legally what this person can get away with.

I think you said it best in your first post - "I smell a lawsuit"

it's just straight stealing and reprinting copyrighted material

I agree with this, however...for something this small, likely tucked away in a corner of the world, do you think Topps/Hanna Barbera will truly care enough to put any legal pressure on them? I have my doubts.

It would probably cost them too much money to pursue it.  They might send a cease and desist letter just to see if that has any affect.

I'm always a skeptic, and had to double-check myself, because I remembered "brontoburgers" too - but they did say brontosaurus burgers on the show!

I didn't even have to look at it; you're right, I remember that one. But IIRC, that one just may have been an exception. Does anyone else know of any examples of this?

This indicates BRONTOBURGERS was the name of the restaurant in the PEBBLES AND BAM-BAM show. So maybe we are not all suffering from Mandela Effect after all.  :]

now you got me singing that song from the Flinstones episode...

Here we come on the run
with a burger on a bun
and a dab of cole slaw on the side....

Oh your tastes we will tickle
with a cold dill pickle
And all of our potatoes are french fried fried fried....

Classic, pure genius!

And don't forget the rest of it:

Our burgers can't be beat
'cause we gring our own meat,
grind, grind, grind, grind, grind...

When you drive away,
a tip upon our tray
we hope to find, find, find, find, find,
we hope to find, find, find, find, find...
