I am so pleased to share that I have been invited to contribute to this new bit of Wackiness for 2023!  If you saw the listing you will have already seen my worms (somehow that doesn’t sound right) and now here’s the next teaser.  There have been a few Wackys based on Finish Dishwasher Tabs but I hope this new one will tickle your funny bone.  Without further ado I present…

OK now that Andrew has pointed to the Wacky Packages 2023 checklist I’m gonna be taking requests here.  So far my cards 8 and 35 have been shown so that leaves 17, 26 and 44.  Do any sound fun?  Just request by the card name and I will post it!  At some point today, I promise.  Just to make it extra Funish if you can guess the product it’s based on I will send you a copy of one of my previous Wackys of your choice, signed if you want, and assuming I have an extra copy in my archive.  Also no Topps artists and one per please.

And Darryl brings it home!  Well done.  Indeed card 26 is Sparkle paper towels but the kind that can stop arrows and helped the Spartan’s win the battle at Thermopylae.  OK they didn’t win but please don’t blame the towels!  So Daryl PM and all that jazz.  And now my final Wacky for Wacky Packages 2023 I give you the tougher picker upper Sparta Paper Towels!

So there’s actually still one more product to guess, the one shown in the Wacky Packages 2023 listing Worm Delights.  Same deal, whoever can identify it, gets a signed card of one of my past Wackys.  Although it’s not a super common product it shouldn’t be too tough with all the hints in the Wacky itself!

Pat, thanks!  Sparta was my son Josh’s idea.  “Hey Dad wouldn’t it be funny if the Greeks used paper towels as shields.”  He also came up with Muggle for Wacky Packages 2014. Also Wendy designed the face of the Worm for Worm Delights as I just can’t do cute.  So yup, Wackys are a family business at the Grossberg household.

I love Funish, but Sparta is a close second.  Thanks for some cool titles!

Anybody know if Topps is printing a checklist?  The PDF is nice, but an actual checklist card with back/front puzzle pieces is more reminiscent of the original series.

Timothy thanks so much for the kudos.  Looks like Funish is king.  I guess to top it would be a big feat! No?  How about have big shoes to fill?  No, well anyway I’ll have to keep an eye out for any products that may benefit from the clown treatment!
