I'm looking for a complete set of all eight of the Wacky Halloween Artists cards from Wacky Halloween Postcards 2010 (see Reply #4 below) in excellent condition. This set is all I need to complete my Wacky Halloween Postcards collection.

Remember, though, I'm unemployed and practically on a budget, so I can't immediatelly afford the over $200.00 that was offered on eBay the last time they were on it (and that was a long time ago, believe me). However, I'm open to any reasonable offer, as long as one realizes it may take me a while - maybe a long while - to get the money. For example, I do set-ups for three different Chapters of the Order of the Eastern Star i belong to; one of them pays me $35.00 for doing two meetings a month, one $35.00 for doing one meeting a month and one $25.00 for doing two meetings a month, but this one is the only one of the three that pays it at the end of the month. Altogether, that makes $155.00. i also get a $20.00 allowance every week. This, however, is all I've got money-wise to deal with.

Let's talk terms.

I don't have a single extra bio card from that set, except for a special Tootsie Troll.

Oh, I know that, Pat, don't worry. I'm just trying to see if someone else out there does.

I figure by now if I can't get all seven of them at once as I'd like, maybe bit by bit will do until it's all finished. How about it, any takers out there?

It would be nice to see pics of these to see what you need. Digging these out can be a hassle. You do some leg work on your end and you may end up with some or all.

You're right, I should've done this in the OP as well.

I don't have pics of them, but I can give you the names. They are:

1. Kackel,
2. Mellow Cup,
3. Mike and Yikes,
4. Boozooka,
5. Stake 5,
6. Starbeast,
7. Tootsie Troll,
8. mr. Ghoulbar (rough art version).

And here's the names of the Topps artists on the backs of the cards:

1. Brent Engstrom,
2. John Zeleznik,
3. Matthew Kirscht,
4. Smokin' Joe (McWilliams),
5. Joe Simko,
6. Neil Camera,
7. Neil Camera,
8. Mark Parisi.

I hope this helps.

It's really odd that there's no scans of these bio cards online.

It's really odd that there's no scans of these bio cards online.

Here are the 7 bio cards that were inserted into the 2010 Halloween postcard sets:

There were 500 postcard sets sold; each postcard set included only the bio card for the artist whose sketch card was in the pack (Camera, Engstrom, Kirscht, Parisi, Simko, Smokin' Joe and Zeleznik), all of whom did sketch cards.  Some artists did fewer sketches, and therefore their bio cards are more scarce.

I left out a special bio card that was never inserted into packs, but was instead printed in a limited quantity and given to artists involved in the set.  Before posting, I wanted to confirm that info with Neil.  So here is the elusive Tootsie Troll bio card:

Great! How much would you want for it? (please be nice and make it reasonable)

Sorry, but I paid what you would probably consider an unreasonable price.

Oh, drat! I was so close! I almost had it!

Thanks anyway, Pat. You tried.

Just for the heck of it, what was the total price you paid for it, if you don't mind my asking?

Your Mr. Ghoulbar is not a bio card, it is a TS10 bonus card that was inserted in each of the 500 Limited Edition sets.  The bio card showed Mark Parisi's rough colored art for the title, which was painted by someone else (maybe Neil Camera?) for the bonus card, and the bio card was only inserted into Limited Edition sets that contained a Mark Parisi sketch card.  If I recall correctly, Parisi sketches and bio cards were especially tough to find.

No; what it looks like is on Reply #6 by Pat above.

However, if you do have all of the other six Wacky Halloween Artists cards out of eight, then indeed, let's talk. As of right now, the way I figure it, it's better than nothing.

I Remember getting a kick out of the MR. GHOUL BAR sketches by Mark Parisi and the varied exclamations used. The top two sketches are mine, the bottom 3 are screen captures others in the forum posted back then.

Vahsurfer, I haven't heard from you for a while. Do you have a set of the basic six bio cards? As Joan Rivers used to say, "Can we talk?"
