Old School 7 base set needed

I have been purchasing Wacky sets that I have missed over the last 5 years or so. I have run into a snag in regards to Old School series 7. There are tan and Ludlow back sets for hundreds of dollars on ebay but isn't the white back set supposed to be much more common? I have been searching for a couple of months with no luck. Does anyone have an extra set?

Yes there is some sort of limit. I am way out of touch with how these releases work but according to Greg's site Olds 6 was limited to 300 white back sets. I am not sure what Olds 7 was limited to.

That is incorrect. OLDS6 was 400 sets.
OLDS7 did not sell out fully, like OLDS6, and had somewhat over 318 sets sold

Thanks for setting the record straight. So if it did not sell out, what then happened to the unsold portion? Is Topps still selling them?

With the online sales, once the sales window closes the set is considered "sold out" and no more are offered for sale.

Getting in on this thread, as the Old School 7 base has been bedeviling me as well.  Anybody got an extra?  There’s a chance someone I know has it, but if they don’t, maybe somebody around here could be a backup option.
