I recently purchased a large childhood WP collection from 1973/1974. Included were 10 unusual 2nd Series stickers with No Copyright information, areas of brighter coloration and bright blue die-cut guide lines. Apologies if this was covered in a prior thread. From my limited research, these may be proof cards that somehow made it into the production process and ultimately were sold in packs to consumers. It appears that the black overprint plate (last plate that added copyright info. and some shading) is missing from these stickers. I'll try to post a photo of SAILEM here, but not sure I'll be able to. I did list a few to ebay, so you can view them there. The 10 titles I found with this variation are: Ajerx, All-Brain, Blecch, Chicken Fat, Fish-Bone, Gyppy Pop, Kook, Log Cave In, Sailem and Schtick. I'm hoping that some Forum members might have more information about these variants? Thx!
