Will Hop Tarts be a Pop Tarts spoof featuring Bugs Bunny from Looney Tunes fame?

A very accurate guess, except that using a copyrighted character that is vigorously protected is out of the question, so look for a more generic bunny!

Basically, it's the Easter Bunny.

I have just recently started collecting the monthly and weekly series. The cards now appear to be trading cards, and not stickers. Even though it’s stated as stickers on the Topps website. Is this correct? Or am I missing something? Hello everyone. I’m also new to the forum!

Hello and welcome Jacky!

I'm pretty sure the ones stated as stickers are full card stickers. They don't have the outline cutting or kiss cutting anymore. But some have also been made as cards and should be noted, such as the Bio cards from the postcard series.  Enjoy the forum, LOTS of great people here.

just got a shipping notice for the March set.

initially surprised, but of course it's Friday and 'overnight' shipping actually means 3 day shipping, so not too surprising

You'll get the March set in your snail mail sometime on Monday or Tuesday.

Received my cards today, and my collation was one of the better ones I've had in quite a while.
I even pulled one of each sketch artist:  Chenduz, Dionese, and Meeks

Oddly, the portrait cards are unnumbered this month

It's true, ABSneeze DID spoof Dr. Seuss' ABC. From the look of it, it's the work of Smokin' Joe Williams.

I had uncommonly good collation this month, too, despite starting off with 5 of 6 sets having the Krook-Aid Wonky.

I only pulled one sketch, a Meeks, and it was in the middle of the base set:

Nice pull!

Strange positioning. All mine were last card in the set, after the Wonky.

I only bought 2 sets and was lucky enough to pull a sketch. Mine also was in the middle of the deck, right before the luds.

Here are 2 other Dr. Seuss titles I want to see spoofed in future monthly Wacky Packages series:

Fox in Socks
How the Grinch Stole Christmas

We have seen these Dr. Seuss titles spoofed besides March 2022's "A.B. Sneeze": "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Dead Fish" (1991 series), "The Rat in the Cat" (1991 series), "Plop on Pop" (ANS2 Bonus sticker, originally planned for the never released 1992 series and planned for ANS1 but withdrawn), "Grenedes and Ham" (ANS8), and "The Loraxed" (2014 series - Ridiculous Reads subset).

Fox in Socks is by far my favorite Dr. Seuss book that I read to my kids and now my grandkids.  I challenge myself to read it as quickly as possible with no mistakes.  It makes you read each word individually rather than glancing and buffering.  Of course my favorite part is the Tweetle Beetles.  I you haven't read it, you can find it online here:

Did you ever read the sequel book Oh Say Can You Say?, also by Dr. Seuss? That's a book of tongue twisters, too.

Actually, Plop on Pop was originally going to be in the 1991 Series also; it was removed because Topps figured there were too many of that type of parody in that series (I know, I know, stupid, right?).

Does anyone have an image of the 2016 Grinch parody they can post? I've never seen it, and can't locate a picture. Thanks!

Time to start thinking about the May set coming next Wednesday

(Image removed from quote.)

According to the May 2022 wrapper: We are getting another McDonald's food spoof, this time spoofing Filet 'O Fish. But will Wacky Packages Monthly ever do spoofs on these little known fast food chains:
Culver's (I'd call it for a Wacky Packages take "Cleaver's")
Raising Canes (I'd call it for a Wacky Packages take "Raising Caves")
Sonic (The modern day drive-in/carhop restaurant chain, not the video game hedgehog - I'd call it for a Wacky Packages take "Sosic")
...I could also think a Wacky Packages take on Burger King's Chicken Fries calling it "Chimpanzee Fries". And though not fast food chains, will Wacky Packages monthly ever do spoofs on products from phramacy store chains CVS and/or Walgreens?

And it is doubtful that May 2022 Wacky Packages would feature when it starts pre orders 3 days after Mother's Day anything related to Mother's Day, and since we got passed May the 4th., no Star Wars Wacky Packages takes are allowed whatsoever!

I'm sure I've seen that Octopus and ink gag somewhere before but who knows?? Most of the time when I think i have a great original idea I find out it's already been done.

Well, I did an Oxi/Octo-Clean gag not too long ago, with tentacles everywhere, and there was also a Triscuit/Squid gag and even a Sour Patch Kids/Squids parody recently. Maybe its one of those you're thinking about?

Was it Oct Tentacle Care, one of the bonus stickers from ANS8, or Octivia, one of the Wack-O-Mercials from ANS7?
