Uncut sheets

Ive never owned one, but has anyone ever “successfully” cut up a sheet? Or seen or heard of it? How did uncut sheets make it into circulation?

Numerous sheets have been cut up and just sold as singles or sets some people seem to have access to cutting devices because they make their own sets or access to print shops.

Can you tell the difference between homemade cuts and Topps factory cuts, which are sometimes off center?
