I have 20 people entered into the contest for this round. A new record! Every 3 purchases gets you one ticket in the contest. You can only win once though so once you win the rest of your tickets are void. I will have a prize for EVERY person in the contest!

Original art!
Old School 10 official sketch cards by Gavin Williams, Mark Parisi, Chenduz (2), Robert Jimenez (2), El Smetcho and Jasmine Contois!
and ???!??

I have to finish up a lot of work through next Tuesday so I'll set up plans for the contest after that and announce them to all the contestants then.

Nope! He said what he meant, and he meant what he said, it's "Jungle", not "Juicy", you read what you read!

Strange.  The Print run just went from 610 to 575.  Not a big deal but I hope that does not affect any existing orders.

No idea what happened there. Maybe some kind of cancellation? I'll have to find out because if that person is in the contest and cancelled then they have to leave the contest.

Starlug is very cool. Although I might be a bad judge of the average WP collector taste. I am one of the few that admits to liking the magazine parodies from the original series.

For me, at least, Starlog was a magazine that I bought and read, cover to cover, which puts it on a whole different level above most of the other magazine Wackys.  Fingers crossed for the art to be a part of the raffle and that the stars align for me   :o

Just wondering Dave, is there a significance to the issue number being 42?

My guess, 42 was the answer to Life, The Universe and Everying in the Douglas Adam's Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe misnamed trilogy.

Coincidentally as I was going through my mounds of magazines in my garage I came across the first couple of years of this magazine - still a good read!

I used to love Doo Dads! I wish they still made them. The 1970s box was a great packaging design! Jason Leibig owns a few of the boxes.

I do, I own an early 1970s box (which is the same as the late 60s launch box with a carve-out of white in the upper left, a later 70s box, and a late 80s box which I BELIEVE is nearly identical to the early-to-mid-80s box (which I'm pretty sure was the same as the late 80s design, but didn't include the blue shading in the background, so was mainly all-white).

Excellent! Sorry I spelled your name wrong. i before e!

I seriously wish I could replicate the flavor of Doo Dads and make my own at home, but there's always one thing missing.

Doo Dads had peanuts, cheese tidbits and different flavorings added. Chex Mix has rye chips, non-cheese tidbits and different flavorings added.

To me, it's like comparing night and day. Doo Dads were a lot tastier.

Actually, I've seen Fiddle Faddle at one of my local Dollar Trees. It used to come in these two varieties, Fiddle Faddle with Peanuts and Fiddle Faddle with Almonds. Now it comes in these two variaties, Caramel with Peanuts and Butter Toffee with Peanuts.

I can't say I've seen Zonkers lately, however, but it also used to come in two varieties, Screaming Yellow Zonkers and Screaming Nutty Zonkers.

I just looked it up and I'm afraid I have some bad news. Conagra discontinued Screaming Yellow Zonkers in 2007 after they acquired Lincoin Foods.

But there's also good news: Conagra has reissued it on a limited basis at Walgreens as of 2012 at various times.

Fiddle Faddle is also found at various U.S. discount and drug stores.
