On a completely unrelated note...After working on these Wonky Ads, I have a whole new appreciation for Tom Sutton's work on the original ads, especially when it comes to the character design! I think most people tend to prefer Norm Saunders style, which I can appreciate since he was such an amazing painter. But Sutton had some real chops as an illustrator and I think we sometimes forget that iconic characters such as Ajerx and Hurtz Tomatoes are actually his creations. No doubt, Norm took them to a whole new level, but I think a lot of the second series titles would've had a completely different flavor had it not been for Sutton. Anyway, just wanted to give props to one of the Wacky founding fathers!
For the past few months I haven't been INTO the hobby as I normally am but this set provided needed revitalization after seeing one of the gags.
Thanks Neil. Now all we need is a bunch more sets to fill up the binder!

Anyone else get the always welcoming "shipment exception" on their tracking three additional days to shipment?
A shipping notice at 4:38pm is always a welcome treat to start the weekend.
ugh. not when you pay extra for fast shipping. the package just sits around for two days before going anywhere.this is probably the 5th or 6th straight Wacky shipment on a Friday in a row. It's clearly intentional.
