Seems kind of quiet today. What can that mean?...
That Wonky reminds me of the ending of the 1952
Looney Tunes cartoon "Operation: Rabbit" starring Bugs Bunny and Wile E. Coyote ("Genius"), with the latter in his first speaking role.
In it, Wile E., sporting the "Warner well-done" look (i.e., burnt and covered in ashes) after his last attempt in the cartoon to get Bugs for supper blows up in his face (literally), staggers up to Bugs' rabbit hole, puts up a collapsible door in front of it and knocks on it. When Bugs rises up from his hole and answers the door, Wile E. (who is barely able to stand up as it is), says, in a dazed voice, "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is
Mud", admitting defeat. He then faints.
Bugs then breaks the fourth wall and says to the audience, "And remember - Mud spelled backwoids is Dum." (which, I just found out, is a parody of the advertising slogan for a laxative from that time called Serutan ("Serutan spelled backwards is "natures"".))
