After the Series 1 debacle, I'm not chasing Series 2.   Not no way.   Not no how.

As much as I like the product, it ain't worth it.  I feel lucky to have obtained all the Original Series titles from Series 1 except for Jail-O.

BTW, I still want to trade!   How about two Big Loogies for a Jail-O?

You found the eBayer and Minute Mud Minis?

To the best of my knowledge, no one here has found those two minis yet; we have just been considering our common sets "complete" without those two until they are proven to exist.

If you read my posts in the series 1 thread, the president of super insult called me a malicious liar.  His chronie Susan told me there are numerous full collections with ebayer and Minute mud and they have been readily available in walmart all along even though they are walmart exclusives.  this was all while Susan told me series 1 is discontinued at this point,  No idea what that means in terms of new distribution for series 1.

Not here yet.  I'm still wondering if Walmart is actually sitting on a boatload of "Wave 6" of Series 1 that will have Minute Mud and ebayer......  If so, that could delay the Series 2 minis hitting the shelves.

I highly doubt there's another Walmart series 1 wave.
Why would they feature 2 "common titles" like Ebayer and Minute Mud in a new wave?
The SI spokesperson "promised" they were in Walmart because she knows Walmart sales
are terrible and thought we would go purchase dead Walmart stock looking for these 2
titles

The distribution of Wacky Minis in Walmart is paltry compared to Target. I am in both chains all the time in a large geography and 1 on 6 WalMarts carries these while 9 out of 10 Targets have them. In fact it is rare to find a Target that does not have them as only smaller stores with a very limited card section do not have them. So even if they were at WaMart; we would have a tough time finding them.  I put my collection of series 1 and 2 mini's away yesterday. I had them displayed on a dresser in our basement workout room. My wife was pretty happy to see them be put away. She did not like the clutter. I did not like to be reminded all the time of a collection that can't be completed. We may see those titles in six months at 5 below. Time will tell.  But SI will not!

do you have any open correspondence with them?   I passed all of this to a group of lawyers who are reviewing it as possible class action.  I imagine it might be too small for a class action but a small local lawyer might take it.  The reason company's invoke these deceptive selling practices is because nobody every stands up and says no.

Why is Topps required to print the distribution rate of inserts on their packaging but Super Impulse "rares" do not need to have the same listings?

I have been wondering the same thing.  Somehow, I don't think Topps could get away with "Fuggetaboutit" as a designation.  For all we know there was just one gold Windhex.

EXACTLY!  My guess is because nobody called Super Impulse out on this, they seem to be under any regulating radar.  Super Impulse wasn't even listed as a company in business in the BBB database!  Super Impulse had full opportunity to play nice with the collectors who contacted them about these concerns, instead we got a big FU so let's have a governing body like BBB or state attorney or a lawyer review it to determine if this practice is ok.   all I ever wanted were facts and full transparency.

can't get to your first link as it seems to be a link to your hard drive.  The 2nd seems to argue the defendant was offering illegal gambling which doesn't apply to Super Insult.  However, you got me to thinking about the gambling aspect of this and that when manufacturer offers "games of chance" I believe  the odds do have to be published AND the odds have to be attainable ie when the slot machines are checked at casinos, they must be paying out at the rate expected.  The fact that we had ZERO CHANCE to get ebayer and Minute Mud because Super Insult purposely withheld those titles for an exclusive that they in no way shape or form made an effort to disclose to the general buying public seems would put Super Insult in trouble.  I have friends I graduated engineering school who programmed slot machines for a living.  I am going to see if I can reach them on this.

Blind Boxes, like the SI Wacky tubs or LOL Surpise! Dolls, for whatever reason don’t seem to require odds listed.
Would really like to find out why only chase cards need this addition and not other merchandise

maybe there will end up being 5 golden Windhex, and each person who is lucky
enough to get one will be invited to the Super Impulse Factory for a tour
and receive, as a bonus gift from a guy named "Slugworth," an eBayer and Minute Mud?

The absurdity of SI's marketing fiasco writes itself....

Would love to find out but I am certain that any law that allows them to withhold the odds also asserts that the items must actually be available and in this case we are not arguing a rare is too rare, we are arguing the two commons are clearly are not and this resulted in buyers buying more and more of this product not knowing they had ZERO chance to obtain these titles as Super Impulse has admitted the titles were withheld for exclusive release which is not documented anywhere.

I am starting to see Series 1 and 2 pile up at Targets. It is now routine for me to see two cases of Series 2 and one case of Series 1 in most Targets.
So they overproduced and oversold. Target will not be happy about all that inventory collecting dust.

The stickers are very cool in a tiny wacky sticker way and the mini's are wacky's come to life. Great product. Lousy marketing and distribution. Topps should pull their license.  It has been abused.

I suspect you're correct and I'm curious what others are finding.  I drove from Madison, WI to suburban Chicago this past weekend and stopped at 8 Targets along the way (there are lots of Targets in suburban Milwaukee).  While the quantity varied by store, of course, I would say the average store had the equivalent of 2.5 full cases of series 2 and 1 full case of series 1 per store.  That is indeed a lot of inventory.  I have no idea how much they're selling, but they aren't having a problem keeping things in stock, it seems.

I find it amusing that SI website continues to list the "Really Rares" in Series 2 as "Black" and show the prototype pics of the the "Black" versions; when what is in the market are "Red" crystal. They can't be bothered to update their page with what is actually in the market.

Considering that the Series 1 red sparkles were never mentioned on checklists, there might be people still buying extra Series 2 cups trying to score the black versions, figuring that the red sparkles are not replacements for the blacks, but are just unlisted titles.

Stopped by a Target today and checked the card section.
They had one Series 1 case, almost full, and FIVE Series 2 cases, all mostly full as well.
I have never seen so many at a store before. Usually I see three cases total.
This store also had a sign saying limit of 1 purchase of any one DPCI.
I’ve seen several different policies now, depending on the store.

I agree with you up to a point.  While I have been successful in recent years in suppressing my completist tendencies, I did want to at least get a sampling of these, because the idea of accurately shaped, scaled and illustrated minis sounds very appealing, as opposed to those god-awful gumball machine trinkets from the 70’s where there were all of maybe six products, and all of them were jug-shaped.  Problem is, I couldn’t find them anywhere!  Not Target, not Walmart, not even at Five Below.  The entire card/collectible section of Target and Walmart were decimated for months, likely due to changing priorities in the pandemic or interruptions in the supply chain.  In any case, they finally showed up at Target when I last went a couple weeks ago, and they look great, but already Series 2!  I completely missed Series 1.  Each had a vintage series favorite exposed at the top - Chef Girl-Ar-Dee, Cram and Ditch Boy. And more than half were vintage series titles, a big plus.  But that will probably be it for me, unless they put out further sets with titles I can’t resist.  We shall see.
