With 5 cards each week, the price point will probably be $25, which equates to $100/month for just one set.  I doubt many of us can keep doing that every month.  Now if they were kiss cut with the wide black borders, no back variations, etc. then maybe.

I hope not at $25. The weekly GPK sets of ten cards are $20, so really these should just five cards for $10. I'm sure Topps'll charge a Wacky tax though, and they'll be more. Wait and see.

Agreed, $25 is a lot.  I'd love $10, and would probably buy an extra set or two at that price point, but $15 is doable.  What I meant in my earlier post is that I will not be buying 50 packs a week.  I'd like a set for pages and a set to put away, but again, it will depend on the price point.

A bulk discount would be fantastic.  But Topps seems to have moved away from that.

I like to do the same, keeping it in an "unopened" state, but if they're not sealed in any way, there's really no point to doing that any longer.

If it was a 1990s series, it would go good with the 1991 series.

Then you could go back to the 1970s again, because I'm sure you've got a whole lot more ideas for that.

Hey, I just thought of something! Why not take all of the lost 1992 series Wackys that have already been published and make a series out of those, lol? Then we'd have the 1992 series at last! All you'd have to do is release a few more of them that haven't been released yet, but are already finished and ready to go if you didn't have enough to make a full 55-card set.

I couldn't imagine how much the people who collect the MLB Topps Now are spending.  They release those every day.
