Off the Market Series 2?
« on: March 31, 2020, 01:51:23 PM »
Hi, all. Planning on doing a Series 2 of Off the Mark-et. Any interest? I'll try to keep the price down. Of course, Covid-19 will delay anything. Here are a few. No timeline yet. Let me know!

Interested? You bet your gooney bird I'm interested! Bring it on, please! I'll be waiting for it with bated breath!

I've only got one request: please do keep the price reasonable for those of us who are unemployed.

Mark me down as a yes, Mark!  Tried for a palindrome, but fell well short.

‘Work Doh’, that’s awesome.  Sometimes not following the traditional approach to Wacky parody creation (i.e., looking for a rhyming word for the product name) can lead to a much funnier idea, and this is a good example.

One question, Mark: are these also going to be based on rejected Wacky designs?

Yes. Most of them are rejected WP designs. I still have plenty and could continue to do sets.

Thanks, everyone, for the enthusiasm!

Mark, got another question.

You have "Throwback Thursday" Off the Mark comic strips which feature your rejected Wacky designs. Do you remember what the date was of the first such strip? In other words, how far back does the concept go?

It looks like July 9, 2007 was the first time I used a rejected Wacky in Off the Mark. iTombs Gift Card.
I used to run a week of them at a time, and now I run them singularly, but not as Throwback Thursdays.
