Ideas For Next Years Series
« on: June 14, 2018, 07:56:51 PM »
After this years movie series (Which I thought was great), how about a series on classic t. v. shows? 2 sided cards with the shows logo on one side and a funny scene on the other side (A scene made up by the artist). Another idea would be a 50th anniversary tribute to the 1969 Wacky Ads. New titles, Wacky Ads style. Ideas on artwork: All title Old School style, all title modern style or a mix of both. Any thoughts?

I'd be interested in an anniversary set of Ads.

How about taking some of the Wackies (and of course there are plenty) that were never made into Ads, and making then into Ads? Wish it could be Norm, but I think we have enough talented artists around who could do the same thing.

all great ideas, we (and I mean "we" as many of the artists and this one concept schmuck LOL) have wanted the same things, and hope that Topps will give us a green light to do something Wacky soon.  Topps seems to be focused on GPK's and, if you gets the Topps Now Baseball cards, they have a love affair with Gleyber Torres from the New York Yankees!

We're trying, trust us!

How about:

Wacky Packages Decades - New Wacky Packages spoofing products of the 1950's, 1960's, 1970's, 1980's, 1990's, 2000's, and 2010's (similar to Wacky Packages Old School series)
