Academia Nuts?
« on: April 23, 2018, 02:58:07 PM »
I’ve been eating macadamia nuts recently, and have wondered if Academia Nuts has been done.

I kind of feel it’s been done, but maybe not? It seems so obvious and ripe for the picking.

The gag could be about (wacky) students, or, for a political angle, stereotypical liberal professors.

Any thoughts?    Mauna Loa seems to be the most popular brand

Where's Baked Bears? He'll flesh this one out!  :D

And, you're right, this is perfect for a parody.

That what I envisioned as well. "Dry, Boasting Academia"          Instead of brand and tag line: "Mauna Loa taste of the tropics"...   Mewanna Goa learn more topics.

I like it!

Au naturale instead of all natural is probably too risque.

Dry Boring Academia, so dry you'll go nuts?

Killer idea!  Wish I was an artist.  Maybe one of them can run with this:

Magma
cum
Laude
Basted In Our Tropical
Lava Naturally
Dry Roasted
Academias
Nit Wits 100s (170 iq)

Have the first A in Magma be a volcano and the flowers are replaced by a lava flow.

Have faces on the nuts with little mortar boards on their magma fried heads.  Bottle cap is a mortar board with tassel. Would definitely buy a copy if done by one of the artists on this board.

I would be more than happy to do it as a private commission! As a matter of fact, I've already relayed that to Jean Nutty, so maybe one day, it will come to fruition. The concept is stellar!
