No, I never had a graded Quacker at all until now. I’m happy with most of the Die Cut 8s I have and don’t really look to upgrade them unless an irresistible opportunity arises.

That Quacker Oats is insane. Nice one!
My only comparable diecut piece would be my Fink. It probably still isn't as nice, but I swear the back is super clean.

this is a hard wacky to get centered. Did you obtain it or did you send it in?  not that it matters however it is great when I hear that newer graded wacky's are still out there.  Also so sorry about that mix up.   It was all my fault, still need to get a sufferin though. Upgraded the gillo port dr nest dirty cell and ghoul humor to 9's

Congrats on the upgrades. I got the Quacker from Jim Modico, he has really become the Die Cut maven in the last few years.

Yep! Except for the top left corner of the back has a slight discoloration. It's not a big deal for me though as I am not getting it graded.

Yes, he's got some beauts!  I think he might have shown me that Quacker, but right after I got my 7…...

He had two 9s on eBay before I bought this one, and he must have one in his set (or a 10). That’s nearly half the 9s and 10s that exist.

Him and I have traded Wacky Ads to upgrade our sets.  Jim is a good guy.

I sold Jim a bunch of raw Ads earlier this year - I wonder if any ended up with you?!

Agree, really quite amazing, and (based on my experience) disturbingly PSA doesn't appear to downgrade when the back is highly toned/tanned/browned.

I doubt it as we both traded the card that we had before we upgraded.  So we just got a better placeholder, none of them were to be permanent spot holders.  (for either of us)

I traded some sketches. I also finished the OLDS 7 pencil set by trading my other back variations from OLDS 7.
So, technically, this week I have made it half way on my series 16. Hip hip hooray!

I would like to put out a very belated shout out to Neil aka Koduck. Way back in Halloween 2017 when we were anxiously awaiting the Halloween pack of fun surprises and they were cancelled, Neil graciously took more of his time and provided either a refund or a painting to replace the Lost Halloween packs of 2017. I live in Canada and Neil was only mailing to US addresses.  I have a friend in the US so once the painting was completed it was mailed to a PA address in March 2018. Neil sent me a Pic of the end result but that was going to have to be good enough for a while. My son was finally able to get down to the US and pick up the Gem for me this Christmas.  The 9 month wait was more than worth it when I got the finished product home! It is a Hawaiian Punks/Star Wars Mashup. I had asked for something Hawaiian Punks as that was one of my all time favorite wackys. When he said it was with a Star Wars theme as well I was crazy excited. :] He mentioned it was loosely stylized after a 1977 Star Wars Card Box.  I have collected Star Wars Cards and various items since 1977. Sorry for the long winded post but I needed to explain it and make sure that Neil gets all the credit he so graciously deserves. Here is the Pic beside a 1977 Star Wars Card Box I have in my collection. The Box is O-Pee-Chee of course because I am Canadian. Super happy to have this in my collection.

That’s pretty sweet.  Makes me wish I had opted for the same thing after the cancellation, but alas I did not.  Like the mashup concept, we’re seeing more and more of that these days.

Very nice.

Haven't been able to purchase anything recently. I've been trying to get a job but no one hires at my age. (I have been hoping to get a new drum set).

Cool to see you finish that 7th Series. It really bugged me that you were missing one card in that set for a while.

It bugged me too, but I refused to take one that I didn’t really like just to finish it.
